Holy Cannoli! What a great tour! The Bakeries, fresh pasta and cheese, meat stores and sidewalk cafes truly give this neighborhood its character and appeal. Good to see this generational neighborhood returning to life with happy customers.
So awesome!! Thank you for taking us there. Wish I could visit in person . I lived in the Bronx as a youngster. Great memories of New York. Love all your videos!! Keep it going.
grew up there when it was 100% Italian.......would have loved to see more of the surrounding area from Fordham Road E. 189th street to Arthur Ave. etc.
Yay! I was hoping you would walk through Little Italy. The outdoor dining/open street has only been going on for a couple weeks but is going well. I'm in that area almost every weekend but of course you were there the one weekend I was not around lol. Btw, that Egidio Pastry you passed by makes a delicious cannoli.
Great walk to a part of the Bronx I've never been. Thanks for taking time to show us the menu and peer into some of the windows! I will definitely visit the bakery and pasta shop when I make my way there.
This is great! thanks for taking us here. Bunch of restaurants are expanding to the streets but they seem to be sitting one next to each other. Sounds like prices are still similar to before the pandemic.
Visiting this area has been on my itinerary on my last 2 visits but haven't made it yet, so I enjoyed this, thank you!! Next time for sure. Or when I move;)
Awesome video! Today (July 31) is my birthday too. You have inspired me so much to be consistent and also with handheld videos again. I would love to visit New York again and take footage there, and maybe meet up together if you could.
Thanks for the walk of Little Italy. I will definitely have to tell my friend about taking me there the next time I come to the Bronx. I alot of the street names I remember but can't remember exactly where located in The Bronx (gone 30 yrs) will have to pull up street map. The food made me very hungry, hope you got a chance to stop to eat some good Italian food. Sylvia
I really think it is. Manhattan's seems to be shrinking. The Bronx's Little Italy has (until Covid anyway) benefited from an influx of college students from the nearby Fordham University. Fordham has bought up a number of properties in the area for student housing which brings money in.
I wish we had outdoor seating and "open streets" permanently across the country. I think it would do so much for our communities if everything wasn't so car-centric and more open feeling. Also, I'm a little shocked at how little mask usage there is here... Coming from Ohio, I wouldve assumed NYC would be taking the whole mask wearing thing much more seriously, especially since the sidewalks are more crowded than here. Beautiful neighborhood though, I'd love to visit
You miss some nice businesses by not making a right on 186st and passing by Addeos bakery and Antonios restaurant at Belmont and crescent. Also When walking thru 187st. It’s a sacrilege to not acknowledge the Our lady Mt Carmel church. It just shows your not from around the nabe. Also next time your on 187st , take a left and drop into Ginos pastry for a old school experience.

So pleased some family run businesses are able to welcome their customers back safely

It is great that little Italy in in the Bronx is back

That bread is making me hungry. Love my carbs lol
It is just me, or does this Little Italy Business District look bigger than the one in Lower Manhattan.

They haven't opened anything, still wack as heck, only food places open and gyms, movie theaters, museums all closed because people don't wear masks.
