I was on your live this morning and my power went out, and it came back on a couple of hours ago,we had a big tree down on the road out, and another big tree down across the road at the bottom both ways out, but I am thankful for power, just got my hot shower and fixing to lay down, but tell magnolia I am sorry, I was talking to her when the power went out, be safe

I just woke up and watched your video, it is devastating what mother nature can do. These places you have showed us are beautiful and i can understand why people want to live there. But i can't imagine how devastating it must be too lose their homes and businesses and have to start over sometimes more than once. Praying for all the people in these communities and the people that lost their lives.🙏🙏🙏🙏 I hope they can recover from this and the families find some healing. Such devastation. I live in the Florida Panhandle and we were hit by Hurricane Michael, a Category 5 hurricane, on 10/10/2018 and STILL today, there are some houses with blue tarps on their roofs because they either had no insurance OR their insurance sucks and denied or still has not processed their claims. We are like 30 plus miles inland and on very high ground so water from flooding was not an issue for us but the wind was. Our house suffered some damage but not like so many others, thank God. We did lose the three most beautiful oak trees that were on our property. They were huge and old, but they were healthy, they were knocked down like they were nothing. I still feel sad about one of the trees that was a thing of beauty to look at on my side porch, which now is not pretty because that tree is gone. I'll be old and dead before one would become that big if I planted one there. Anyway, just wanted to say I feel these people's devastation, I can't imagine losing everything like so many have, but these hurricanes are heart wrenching and I worry also about all the pets people stupidly leave behind and the wild animals who also were hurt, killed, and those that lost their homes. Sad all the way around.
I was watching the weather & they said something like 12 states have been hit by this storm. Thank you to everyone who went running in to help all those affected. God bless you. ❤

My daughter in law had a tree fall on her car. Just missing her house.
My sister had a tree fall on her home and came through her kitchen.
Many people are without light including my son, nephew, niece and many more 😢

Thank you JLR. I remember when we flooded in 2011 in Minot North Dakota. It is traumatizing to go through natural disasters. I can’t imagine feeling the terror of a possible hurricane occurring and/or a storm surge for 4-5 months out of my year and that it could wipe out everything. I can’t handle the stress of it being a possibility to flood here for a few weeks a year. I moved out of the flood zone. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 for those affected. ❤❤

That buliding that fell flat to the ground I think was the big carport next to Town Hall. I tbink it could possibly even be the post office... I absolutely love this place and hate they are going through this again.

Horseshoe beach always gets hit like this, always. There about 20 to 30 mi from where I live. Property is pretty cheap down that way. Steinhatchee too.

Prayers for all those affected. All down the Florida Gulf Coast is devastated. This is worse than ANY hurricane ever. Florida will take a long time to recover from this.
Western NC was also hit hard. Severe flooding and road closures. People climbing on their roofs to get to safety. All major roads into Asheville closed. At least two deaths, maybe more after searches are complete.
Fascinating to see the aftermath but so sorry for all the people who lived there.
