Her sweet little fur baby looks like a little bear himself! So glad they are both okay. Good job, mom! 💙💙
I thought she was holding a bear cub. Lol!
I‘m happy for her. She is such a brave woman.
What a warrior
The dog look like a bear cub. Maybe the bear thought she was going to hurt the dog.
I agree with you
please do NOT let your dog out for pee without a leash ! So grateful you are both safe !
Oh that’s love. Her little smoky looks like a bear cub! How precious!
I watched an entire family exit their van last summer and approach a mother bear and 3 cubs outside of our rental cabin. Woman even put the baby on her hip to get a better look! I ended up honking my air horn to shoo the bears away and the family had the audacity to be mad at me 🤦♀️. I wonder how some people even survived as long as they have with zero common sense. I wouldn't doubt if these people did something similar. I watch black bears and their cubs play below the deck every year. They have never been aggressive. Respect their space and they leave you alone.
I hear you loud and clear. I can't count the numbers of times I've seen stupid people put themselves and/or their children in danger like this. Along the road to a large national park in California, cars lined up just off the road on the berm and were opening their windows - with small children - and feeding swarms of black bears and their cubs Oreos, potato chips, energy bars. Little kids shoving their sticky little fingers full of goodies out of the windows, into the bears' mouths. Fortunately, the park rangers came along and started issuing tickets, avoiding a horrible tragedy. I've seen those cute little black bear mommas hook their claws in the tops of the car doors and just rip the doors right off the vehicle. And those stupid, stupid people get mad if you tell them to stop.
During one stay in Yellowstone, a obviously very ill cougar wandered into a packed campground site near the lodge. It was in bad shape, emaciated, panting, weak and obviously in pain. People swarmed out of their tents, taking picture with flash right in the animal's face, encouraging their kids to take it bowls of water, lunch meat, hot dogs, cookies, you name it. I just about had a coronary watching that and started yelling at them to back off, that it was sick. Of course, they got mad. One of our party ran to the ranger station. The rangers came fast and collected the animal and later euthanized it. They were nice enough to come tell us that they would have tried to save it, but it had massive tumors - terminal cancer, poor thing, and it was very old.
Many is the time I've thought about how bad those situations could have been and it makes me break out in a sweat. Those stupid, stupid people seem to have no idea they dodged a massive bullet. If anything had happened? Well, of course, they would have blamed the animal, the rangers, the park, etc.
Am I the only one that thinks her cute little dog looks like a cute little bear?
🐻 Maybe the bear thought her dog was a bear cub too because he looks adorable just like one!
Aww, he’s so cute!
What a good mom
Glad She is Okay
What a good dog mommy
@@lisamcdonald1014 yup
Feel so sad that poor mama bear had to be put down. If you know bears are in your area , think twice then think again about going outside with out clanging on a pan or something first. Hope this lady and dog heal well.
She was just being a mama bear protecting her three cubs. What happened to the Cubs?
That’s sad for the mom bear why couldn’t they just relocate them
@@c.a.6249 Sadly, it’s probably because once an animal begins attacking people, they may likely do it again. Plus, the cubs can be taught that example too. I am speculating this bear may have been a local nuisance and this was a final event.
WHAT!!! she was only doing what most mama's do protecting her baby's
Yep, mother black bears are fiercely protective of their cubs, hence the term “Mama Bear instincts”
AWWW, HOW PRECIOUS IS SMOKEY, THAT'S HER HEART , MAY SHE HAS A SPEEDY RECOVERY, GOD BLESS HER.
I’m watching this sitting between my two Pomeranians. What a brave woman, I’d do the same for mine🥰♥️
Yep we love our animals so much we will do anything to protect them. You are a very special lady. Your pup is so lucky to have you.
❤️🇺🇸🕊🙏✝️🐕✝️🙏🕊🇺🇸❤️
Thank God for saving your baby now 💞💞💞 💞💞💞 and you are safe now and you can get to see each other again and God is watching over you both now
Both Mamas trying to protect their babies.....This poor furbaby mama defended her baby boy and won even though sustaining multiple injuries, wasn't gonna let her baby doggie down.....❤❤❤❤
Glad she go home and Be careful there 😊
I am so glad they’re both ok
Isn't a bear usually named "Smokey" and some dogs are named "Bear"?🤔
I was thinking of the irony of a dog named Smokey being attacked by a bear 🤔
Hard to say
now all three bears are orphans
Those cubs are old enough to survive on their own .
Es increíble lo que está señora hizo por su mascota, arriesgó su vida por el, es amor de verdad ❤
How precious
Bless Your Heart.💐
So happy for you and your precious baby!!!❤❤❤ God bless y’all
Very grateful she's and her little pup are doing well 🙏🐕💗
Brave lady ❤🩹
What a great mama. Kisses and hugs to Smokey❤🤗
LOVE❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’m so glad she was discharged… I am still sad that the mamma bear was killed… I hope the bear cubs are okay
A article i read stated the cubs were released in a safe area that has plenty for them to survive.
@@CryMeARiver63 that’s good news… thank you for that
Good Dog Mama!♥
Amazing. ❤
Aaaaaawww ❤❤❤
So happy they are okay. Mama Bear was just protecting her babies. Hope the authorities didn't put the Mama down.
I'm glad mom saved her little baby and lived to tell the tale.
What a wonderful woman. She shouldn’t live there and certainly not alone anymore. God bless her and I pray someone opens their doors to her, or comes to live with her, or that she moves. I don’t know how else she could protect herself from bears in that area because it could happen again.
You just have to be really careful at night in rural areas… step out with a spotlight and dogs on leash
Smokey has a baby bear face, am glad she is okay .
That dog looks like a bear cub. I expect that that mother bear thought that an outsider cub was about to attack one of her cubs. The woman should not have let her little dog outside by himself, without her presence. Black bears are normally shy. The mother bear would not have come close to the house, had she seen the woman standing out there. This was totally the woman's fault.
Wow! She and her dog both survived a bear encounter...
In this case, this lady was the "mama bear" protecting her little "cub". Amazing coincidence her little pup not only looks like a bear cub but is named "Smoky" like "Smoky the Bear". So thankful everyone is safe and this story had a fairytale ending. ❤❤❤😊
That dog is so small she could use pee pads to a void a second time a bear may show up.
❤ I think it's "mummy's little boy"❤️🐕🦺🐾be well❤
This was two momma bears fighting to protect their cubs! I hope the mother bear wasn't killed - she was just doing what mothers of vulnerable babies do.
Super lucky. That dog almost resembles a bear cub. I bet that bear was extra salty.
Dog looks like a little bear cub.
🙏 💞 💖
Are bears in the area all the time
It is believed that bears are in 75% of Pennsylvania's counties but can be found throughout Pennsylvania.
Jillian, you have beautiful hair!🌺🙂
Good bye Smokey.🏃🏻.
I never let my dog out alone. I use a leash. I’m glad mom and dog are ok I hope the momma bear and her cubs are left alone. If she had wanted to kill the little pup, she would’ve
Her little dog looks like a bear!
Wow❤😮
❤🙏
♥️♥️❣️♥️♥️
So glad you and your adorable dog are ok. Sorry they killed that momma bear and took her cubs.
🙏🏻💜🤲🏻
The lady who was attacked probably was trying to feed them she thought at a safe distance. If a investigation is done they need to look at her phone.IF she did there's video.
A lot of people get hurt trying to be "one with nature" then claim, I don't know why it attacked me.
The woman let her dog out to pee at 8:30 that night and the momma bear went after her dog , the woman went after the bear to save her dog .
I don't think the bear would have hurt the little pup it looks too much like a baby bear cub not to mention his name is Smokey 😊 Smokey the bear 🐻Lol 😂 all you need now is yogi 🐻 and boo-boo🐻
And PLEASE restrain your pets in the car - no matter how short the trip.
Our vet was telling us how airbags kill dogs every day. Even if someone hits us at only 30 MPH, the pet becomes a missile.
We love them like our kids. ❤😊
Thank you for getting this message out!
Barely survived!
Stupid to risk your life fir a dog.
we cant be bear free in the forest. we are on their land. keep your dog away from
a
mother and her babies.
otherwise you cause the death of a bear mother and now
3 bears are orphaned. they wont learn how to forage or hide they will
not thrive and also be killed by
humans. we are such assholes
Migrating , hungry or curious bears ,cougars and coyotes can be drawn for miles by the smell of food in a home or outdoor trashcans, as well as bybthe scent of humans and house pets.
If you don't have justified reason or evidence that she was feeding those bears tvictim. Yhen you probably shouldn't say hateful things about a vulnerable victim.
That bear was in her yard not the other way around. As for the cubs ....they are old enough to fend for themselves .
