Thank you for the tour! As a solo traveler for the RunDisney races this year, would you recommend this or the original Disneyland Hotel? Currently have both booked, very similar price, and having trouble deciding. I also am having trouble grasping exactly how big the property is. Is the Discovery Tower just a minute or two from the building where check-in is? Thanks again!! Great content.
Heck yeah, rundisney is so much fun. We’re doing the 5k for it! I’d say if the prices are similar, stay in the new rooms! Also, the discovery tower is just passed goofys kitchen the right side. A very short walk from the main check in building.

I’m planning a trip to Disneyland next year. Honest opinion, which is better for a family of 3? Disneyland hotel standard room or the room you guys stayed in this video?
Honestly if you aren’t going to spend a lot of time in the room, we’d do whatever is cheaper! You still have access to the same pools. The Disneyland hotel rooms are still really nice, just a smaller bathroom

Preferred view vs standard view. It’s literally the view? Or is there extra .
Just the view, as long as it’s the same room type. If you’re looking at a Duo Studio then those are different than what we showed here
