We have never stayed at the Disneyland Hotel, and today we are spending the night in the new discover tower - The Villas at Disneyland Hotel. We’ll eat lunch at the new Palm Breeze Bar which has some casual yet sophisticated cocktails and food. We’ll give you a tour of our Duo Studio room, which might be the smallest room we’ve ever seen on Disney property. Find out what we thought. Not only that but we got a tour of the deluxe studio, a one bedroom villa, and the biggest room that is offered on Disneyland property - the three bedroom grand villa. We’ll swim in the new Pool and hot tub, and give you a full tour of the hotel. We’ll grab dinner at our favorite bar at Disneyland resort, Trader Sam’s and have breakfast at Tanagra terrace. Come with us on this adventure!

No, I just saw on twitter when the villas first opened people were making fun of that sign because it was so big, so I made it my mission to find it because I thought it was funny

Kitra is so positive about the view from the balcony! I really like the Murphy bed. And I usually ignore the commercials, but with Gizmo & Pixel in there, that was cute. We don't see enough of those guys. There are so few touristy places that allow you to bring dogs (like the only place around here is Trees of Mystery).
Wow, I usually don't go for DVC and hotel videos, but this one is so cool. I'd be able to bring some of my adult kid's families to the two bedroom suite! Yeah, I could go for that.

If you don't know that DVC two bed room Have Full kitchen and washer and dryer Sleep 8 (some will sleep 9) If not DVC member you buy rental point may save you half cost of the room.

So happy you had a great time. Our recent experience was tarnished when housekeeping left our door open (for who knows how long) by keeping the door open with the dead bolt. I did not like the flooring (that’s why it’s so echo-y), it just made it feel “cold.”

The geyser is a tribute to the beloved extinct waterfall gardens when the Frontierland tower was the Bonita Tower pre Disney owning the DLH. Love it

I stayed in those Disneyland Hotel garden view room bungalows in the 1970s. They were so cool. Definitely a core memory for me as a kid.

Stayed at the Disneyland Hotel in 2019 and had the best time! 😍🤗 Loved going down and eating at Earl of Sandwich
They need to bring that back to that side of downtown Disney
My family has been DVC Disney world members since 2003 and we always came around Christmas. Ever year we would bring our own Christmas tree with ornaments. We would bring lights to decorate our balcony!

Just lovely when we got married in dec of 2011 at the DLH, we booked a two room suite in the frontier tower, and we have been partial to that tower ever since. We have have stayed at the DLH 5 times now, and always request the frontier tower, very happy for you.

40:30 when kitra talks about the bathrooms I always think of when she broke her ankle and there was like a 2 inch lip you needed to step over to get into the bathroom and it was the bane of your existence! I felt so bad for you
Oh my gosh I will never forget that! Never take walking for granted, the littlest things could be your biggest obstacle
I LOVED the pull-down bed in the Jungle Book room; its firmness was absolutely perfect for me, and I had the best sleep in a long time! (Full disclosure: I love a firm mattress, and a busy park day always helps with sleep.) I also really enjoy sleeping on the pull-out beds in the suites in the Disneyland Hotel; hopefully, that information will help you make a choice if that room is right for you! I loved the Jungle Book room; we had one with a balcony over the pool. I wanted to stay in one as soon as I saw the concept, and so when hubby and I had the opportunity to get a small room (Disneyland sans enfants!), we took it!
I love the idea of a Murphy bed. I hate the firmness 😂

Aawww we missed you by 1 day, we were there 12/24, 2 floors above you 928. Love the new hotel and the ease of getting in with self check in and using the phone to open the door, yes. Our room was also ready by 2pm. Cant wait to stay there again nxt month.

I am happy you guys are DVC now!you will have lots of content next time you go to Orlando! I recommend riviera!! And staying at the animal kingdom lodge waking up to giraffes are cool too. We are dvc as well and we hope to stay at the Disneyland dvc rooms soon.

Thank you so much for the very detailed tour of the new Villas at Disneyland. Honestly we weren't thrilled with the art renderings of this place at first but wow! Totally different when completed. I love the retro vibe so much and love the tiny details everywhere. We're DVC as well so we're hoping to stay there in 2025.
Ha! I was wondering if you were going to compare the bed to the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel beds. Glad to hear the Murphy bed wasn't as bad but sad it was still stiff. I was so tired in Japan so I knocked out on the beds but they were still stiff. 😭

How many DVC points for that room/apartment?
On the cheapest day it’s 120 points a night for the three bedroom villa. Most expensive day is 200 points. Compared to the duo studio which is 16 at lowest and 26 at highest.

The room looks about the size of a cruise ship balcony😊 cabin (with a MUCH bigger bathroom of course..)
I think the duo studio is like 250 square feet while most balcony cabins are like 175z

We just added on at VDH. Was hoping to get a Duo Studio for the race next weekend but missed it (and I don’t think they have all the units declared yet). Don’t know when we may get to stay at our new home resort, so we’re living vicariously through you!
I’d highly recommend the deluxe studio over the duo studio whoever you get there
