As of Trial of Allegience, you dont get supply from Berlin when you're in the Axis, you get it from Kyzyl. Since you're at war with the USSR and Mongolia, there is no way for supply to reach the German front for your troops. Your hand is kinda forced to use Expeditionairies or invade from Kyzyl and Tannu Tuva.
Thanks a ton for the guide! It allowed me to get the achievement on the 2nd try after a lot of previously fruitless grinding... A couple notes for others who want to get it using this strategy: 1) You don't have to get all the South American countries as exiles; Chinese manpower and the industry of the first ~5 countries you get is enough 2) You HAVE TO join the Axis and build infrastructure, airports, and supply in the Union; the German AI is r*tarded and unable to do that, making it almost impossible for them to win on their own Have a sub~
its also very risky to keep adding nations to your faction by dismantling it as your exiles can join the Axis before you can invite them to the new faction sometimes. I lost a run like this cause China joined the Axis and the exiled manpower went to Germany, not me.
I was shocked when I found out that I had somehow been the very first person in the world to get this achievement, got it just under 24h after the launch lol.
Most achievements weren't as hard to beat at the beginning, once they fixed the game and patched a lot of exploits it got harder. While there still is the elephant in the room of paratroopers, things like "Order 66" is a lot harder now since there's fewer options and more RNG involved, and cheesing division templates isn't a sure thing either.
@@hatless_spider I did it shortly after BBA launched. I made a small number of 5/0 inf with support artillery, and a lot of 2w cavalry. Cavalry ran amok all over Siberia while my 5/0 divisions mopped up encircled enemy divisions. Had enough war contribution to get all of the territory for all of my formables, perhaps because the war was over quite fast and Germany didn't get the chance to build up crazy war contribution.
To tell you the truth, i was looking for a way, to do this, only found out some old videos, but i have ended up taking half of Sinkiang ( it looked like south and North Korea), than taking whole Xibei san ma, by not calling anyone but sinkiang to attack through their territory, sending cavalry units to quickly take the empty areas, before they get invited in Chinese alliance, or how it is called, then grinded some of their manpower, and was pretty much happy, got around 42 divisions, then made war as Fascist, but i got bored, to just watch it be like ww1 stalemate, soo thank you for your nice ideas of new way how to get it . :D
Thanks for the video, I found the strategy helpful In getting the achievement! I ended up getting china, shanxi and spain as exiles and that was enough for me to make around 40 divs that I improved over the time of war, I started the war with the soviets around 39 and held on and just kept eating their divisions in countless encirclements without pushing out wide. As soon as Germany pushed in I started slowly expanding and that gave me more than enough war score to get all the provinces you need.
I had an idea for a cheesy Siberian Tiger strategy that might be equally as insane, but I’m not sure if it would work since I came up with it at 4 in the morning: - Start as the Soviet Union, kick Tannu Tuva as soon as possible (April), before then immediately start connecting the railway network to Tuva. As soon as you can, justify on them and annex them. - Redirect all naval production to convoys - Start going down the Trotsky path in the focus tree. What matters here is that the civil war is won as quickly as possible (go full cheese, lend lease everything to Spain before war triggers, set all divisions to anti-air before triggering the war, etc.) - Make sure to set your secret headquarters to Tashkent. This is important. - After winning the war, rush towards the “Autonomous Soviet Republics” focus - This will release Belarus and the three Caucasus nations. As soon as possible, annex Belarus and Georgia (Don’t worry about Armenia and Azerbaijan) through lend-lease, construction, and the continuous focus. I’m not sure how long this takes or if this is even necessary-the problem here is that Belarus and Georgia will be able to move troops into Soviet territory if we don’t do this. - Once you annex Belarus and Georgia, release Georgia and Dagestan as free. This will isolate Armenia and Azerbaijan. - Move all of your troops to your capital Tashkent, and then release Kazakhstan as free, isolating the capital from the rest of the country - Release Tannu Tuva as free and as Tuva, spam out 2-width cavalry divisions, and justify and declare on the Soviets. The Soviets will have no troops (unless Belarus/Georgia aren’t annexed, then you may have to face the puppet divisions). I’m not sure if this is possible before Germany declares on the army-less Soviets, but it’s a crazy idea
I like the thought process! Not sure it could be done fast enough, though, plus there's the issue that I don't think that achievement can be triggered if you didn't start as tannu tuva. Could be wrong though!

I so glad that I cheesed my way out of this achievement beore the BBA peace conference update, because I don't know how much brain cells I would lose trying this now. As much as I like these to "beat" the game when the odds are against you (it's super satisfying), I really wish that Paradox made some of its achievements more playable for most players. Unless, the devs tried these crazy methods one day or watched a "crazy HOI4 RUclipsr" and decided that they should make an schievement for it... I guess only history will tell ;) This is a really brilliant run, though probably too much chaos for me to personally handle!
I’d disagree with the part of inability to take all of Sinkiang and much of china. By producing transports from the beginning of the game i managed to take out sinkiang without soviet help. You can paradrop the unguarded southern tile bordering the Soviet Union and rush with 2w cav. Then you’ll still have the time to quickly defeat Xibei San Ma with Comintern’s help before they join the united front. That gives you the setup to have a capable army and gain major war contribution by reliably encircling Chinese troops (i managed to get a really ugly but highly populated puppet spanning about a third of the country) Then, I turned fascist, joined the axis to keep the Russian army on the German border and quickly justified on the soviets and made some shock troops with my population enchanced by Karl Marx’s portrait (my puppet army was made strictly for defence purposes to avoid them breaking free) Then, quickly punched through Mongolia to link with my puppets without inviting them into the war. Looked for easy encirclements while bleeding the Soviets with my huge defensive army and waiting for Barbarossa. After Germany attacked I switched into an all out assault mode to farm war contribution. In the end that got me around 25% wc which was enough for an empire that spanned from Vladivostok way past the Urals + Mongolia Then I proceeded to beat up Japan alongside the US, but my Chinese puppet allowed me to take most of the land really cheaply and limit American gains to 1 or 2 provinces in Japan This strategy is quite challenging and cheesy, but still possible and really satisfying to pull off :)
How did you get liberia and ireland etc to jojn the war? they refuse to for me They have dangerous borders against the enemies. -100 Democracy being called to an offensive war: -50 Base Reluctance -20
I think France having a civil war is an absolutely critical part of this strategy working. In one attempt at this strategy, it didn't happen, and Germany could never fully break through to France and the low countries, and thus never started Barbarossa.
That might be a new issue if pdx changed something, although I'm not aware if it has changed. I would say try it again and try reloading as well. Sometimes the calculations on who can join will change upon reload

That's pretty easy to do by comparison, no crazy strats needed, just knowing how to win in China and how to beat Japan is enough. Make the collab as soon as possible (remember to set your colonies to civilian gov at game start, make one in India for the extra factories). You get the United Kingdom of Portugal and Brasil, you can kill Spain for fun once WW2 starts (3 armies + max collab is enough to take them in a couple of weeks since they barely have any cores at this point, most being next to you) and you go to war against China and Japan. Kill China first (because of Chinese unity), take what you can in the contested peace deal (make sure to take it using your collab) then take the rest once Japan falls. Fighting them in China until the US caps them or capping them yourself using a naval invasion (the Spanish and Brazilian fleets will help but you'll need to build your own navy to contest) will net you enough score to take China. Then justify for Hong Kong and occupy it. Alternatively, you can take HK after your war with Spain. Justify for it, use your fleet to invade Britain through the west (avoid the Channel) then continue with the war with China and Japan. Join the Axis so you don't have to fight them and finish off Japan using what fleet you managed to steal off the British (or do the old strat of puppeting Britain in a tiny province and annex them for the full fleet).
@@Havok0159there are ways to wait for the Japanese navy to go to port, Portugal has the ability to building a functional navy and when combined with naval bombers it will win any sea battle.
Hmm, i was referring to the fact that a normal playthrough with tannu tuva without exploits would be super difficult. So in that sense, this is far easier, despite being a complicated strategy

When I try this china wont accept any my requests for expeditionary forces, even just one unit.
You have to use one of your own units to create a garrison or frontline order first.
And China must be in a mutual war with you
