So the trick to reuiniting Austria Hungary is for Croatia to declare war on all of Asia. Makes sense

The map in November 1939 is just cursed. Italy holds most of the Balkans, meanwhile Croatia holds most of Italy.

Agreed, the generic focus tree is the most straightforward and gives you exactly what you need to make a worthwhile nation, regardless of what nation it is. Plus being able to switch to Fascist or Communist incredibly fast is wonderful. This is a much more entertaining way to form Austria-Hungary though. Definitely gonna be doing this.
You thought this was the dumbest way? To go even further beyond try forming it with croatia but release yourself while retaining italy’s core states

Liberate is not just for RP reasons for democracies, it actually lowers world tension. While niche, this actually can be useful, especially in Europe when you can liberate overseas colonies you don't care about to keep your world tension down and the UK off your back for longer.

generic focus tree is decent not as disgustingly small as NZ but not as large as finland's focus tree. its in the middle decent but not horrible
Croatia honestly should have a focus tree considering its role in WW2. The Ustashe famously out Nazi'd the Nazis.
Reason it doesn’t have one is because it is a releasable.
That said if Yugoslavia is reworked to be decentralized upon game start it could be worth adding a focus tree to Croatia.

As a native speaker I'll disagree here respectfully. The usual English pronunciation ending in the hard "k" sound is further from accurate than his version. This way he could just be a very drunk German 🤷🏽♂️

@@hatless_spider I watched a video on how to pronounce it and it seemed the popular second name "Reich" is said like SH but "Reich" like the Third Reich is said with a K . Odd
@@drjakett to put it simply, "sch" is pronounced "sh" but JUST "ch" is pronounced the way you're thinking of. it's not exactly a K sound like "reick" but rather another sound entirely wikipedia calls a "voiceless palatal fricative"
