    Nice. What size wheels are you using for this test?
    Will be interesting to see a test when it's minus 10 and snow or a lot of rain
    The warranty accept a degrading of the battery for up to 30% within 8 years or 160.000km so I don't hope it will lose so much capacity

    Since you are driving the performance model was this trip in performance mode or range mode with rear motors disconnecting during cruise and could you feel the motors disconnecting?
    Great video and thanks much!

      @@guybouchard8125 This was in Range mode! I was soo exited so I forgot that important note. The disengaging is not possible to notice! The only change is that when doing a sudden acceleration (a.k.a Kickdown) there is a short delay and a softer mapping. So very smooth all in all. 😎👍

    Fint jobbat!!! How was cruise working and was it easy to use? I suppose you can not adjust the distance to the car in front, so how did the car do it on highway and in city traffic?

    • @PolestarHEngineered

      It performs very similar to the Polestar 2. When using Pilot Assist (steering assist) the hands are detected a bit differently compared to Polestar 2 but they are tweeking that in the software. The distance to cars ahead feels perfect so I think it is dynamic with speed? But I also think they will add that feature soon on the steering wheel buttons.
      😎👍

      @@PolestarHEngineered When I did my test drive it was raining lightly and noticed there is no intermittent position on wiper switch, it's now part of auto function and wasn't sensitive enough in light rain, which I'm sure they will be able to improve.

    On your trip, how was the coms reception since the P*3 does not have a shark fin antenna did you notice any loss or difference?

      @@guybouchard8125 The antenna appears to be inside the rear panoramic roof glass so I had 5G all day. In southern Sweden we have good signal. 😎👍

    Did you turn off performance mode on this test?

  • @fervidmuse
    @fervidmuse 2 месяца назад

    You mention the gauge cluster does not show accurate range. Is it showing WLTP? Are there no settings for the gauge cluster to change this such as in the Polestar 2 which can show either the rated WLTP/EPA (depending on market) or the dynamic estimation calculation based upon consumption?

    • @PolestarHEngineered
      @PolestarHEngineered  2 месяца назад

      @@fervidmuse I mentioned that the driver display range in Polestar 2 does not show accurate range compared to Google Maps. (regardless if you set it to standard or dynamic)
      In the Polestar 3 the driver display range is dynamic, and different every day, and it was also spot on in this test. It was 4% wrong but I knew I was going to drive calmer than the day before so totally logical.

    • @volvodashcam
      @volvodashcam 2 месяца назад

      Google is often more accurat since it knows the average speed on the roads ahead and it should also count for weather/temperature. The range in the driver display is refering to your earlier drives and can be off a bit if the "new" drive is in diffrent speed etc. :)
