The first ragga game was NUTS wow that was cool
I just looked up the cards in that combo. Raggadragga seemed like a straight up unga-bunga creature at first, but that untapped ability is pretty strong.

Seeing cards like Spine of Ish Sah and Wave of Vitriol in a cEDH game is kind of refreshing.

I'm starting playing this format & this is the first deck I'm brewing. I had concerned that the commander would be to weak but this gives me hope
I do almost the same thing with Katilda and humans. Lot more hate bears in white. And having them be mana dorks too catches people off guard.

@@jordandietrich4236 One of the guys at my LGS runs Erinis, Gloomstalker with the Street Urchin background as a CEDH pairing. It's Gruul control, killing any creature that enters the field under your opponents control. Usually wins with a Dockside/Temur Sabertooth combo

@@TheGrifcannon22 I'm actually a bit of a Raffine stan these days but I love seeing different strategies at a competitive level that bring out cards with funny names!
I had a feeling the game was over when Ryan attempted Ad Nauseam. 3 players used all their resources for that play which cleared the way for Jordan, as it often happens in these games. It's a tough spot being in Ryan's position as the main threat because if you commit to a win attempt, all 3 players try to stop you and then any one of them can go for an easier win attempt right after.

Oh shit. I go to TC rockets for their weekly events and they’re by far the best store in SD (my opinion). We’re very competitive and we have players that changes up their deck almost every week for major deck variety. We love to showcase a lot of different decks and try new things. Definitely drop on by if you’re visiting or if you’re itching to play some competition

I've heard some whispers but can Higher and PWP publicly announce the moved date of Fish Bowl? this ad with TC's seemed like the perfect time and the website still says November and lets people pay for them.
I'd reach out to TC's to verify, but yes the Fish Bowl I believe was moved.

First game was awesome, Loved the interaction and the Raggadragga win in the end. Just one question about the time they stopped Ryan's win.Deadly Rolick targeted toothy and when toothy got exiled, Shaun was allowed to draw 3 cards. How did he draw those cards? Toothy doesn't stay that "target player may draw.." It just says "draw a card". Was there another reason Shaun was able to draw 3?
"When Toothy leaves the battlefield, draw a card for each +1/+1 counter on it"
@@TheConquistador7821 yeah but the person who drew wasn't the person in control of Toothy. Toothy doesn't allow anyone to draw but the person who controls the permanent

@@ilpomaitre2929 wow, I just re-watched it. Idk when I was listening to the flow of cards played, I completely lost track of who had the pir and toothy deck. Somehow I thought drake was playing toothy and was like "well that was weird". My b! Everything makes sense now haha

Do you play with a first free mulligan? If so or not anyone knows which specific rule applies to this? I always played with london mulligan but been recently told the first one is free
103.4c In a multiplayer game and in any Brawl game, the first mulligan a player takes doesn’t count toward the number of cards that player will put on the bottom of their library or the number of mulligans that player may take. Subsequent mulligans are counted toward these numbers as normal.

3:00 - Why did Shaun not play his turn 1 Mystic Remora?
Shaun here. The thought process was that I kept a hand with no mana ramp, and paying the upkeep on fish was going to choke my development too much if I played it on turn 1. Obviously if I knew Ryan was going to Wheel then I would have run it out.
