weird. ive tried it yesterday and it worked like a charm, but i try it today and everything is literally 1 or 2 fps EDIT: fixed it, i had to install new nvidia gpu drivers
Wines acting up, proton will just crash before a window is loaded and wine has a lot of weird issues such as only showing "exit" for all the text, im using Arch Linux rolling release, any tips:

Try setting it and then launching from the terminal afterwards. Make sure not to click away from the main Among Us window. I think after they’re anti-cheat updates, it got more strict.

Na, actually works fine. Played it in my t420 a couple times but that 2nd gen i7 is not having a good time with it. I found streaming through steam from my desktop works best if I want to play anything from my laptop. Just been working dawg. When's the next video coming?
@@Frankiscool it is booting app but then emulated app say steam not installed, (I installed newer version ) I tried it a lot I just go to among us folder then rename Among US.exe to Among_US.exe and then Among US_data to Among_US_data and then open terminal in this window and type wine Among_US and it is booting app correctly but say (windows version of ) steam not installed Sorry for my English
@@bit4795 I just tried it again and it's working for me. You shouldn't need to rename the application name. Just download the game through steam, enter the directory where "Among Us.exe" is and run the wine64 command. If that fails, you can always look at the other comment left by another user here where they launched the game through steam by setting a proton environment variable.

As long as you’re able to download the game files using Steam, it should work.
