- I was trying to declutter a kitchen cabinet when I came across some old boxes ... so I had to stop there and then to make a junk journal with them. Here's the result.

I love this video, this junk journal is far simpler than the ones we usually see on RUclips and just as beautiful.
Thank you so much for showing how a proper junk journal is made. I really don't have the patience to sew in the signatures, so this is a brilliant alternative. You're the best tutor I have seen, thank you for your help.

Now this no sew journal is fantastic! I love, love, the cover and back page. What a wonderful way to reuse packaging, too! TFS. 💌🙏🐨

These journals are so fun to make. I got a nice cardboard box that held some respiratory equipment. I saved an instruction book and a thinner box that came inside. I plan to make an entire journal using these as the base materials. Your journal is lovely.

I think I'm going to use this technique to make an accordion type junk journal. I'll be using one page invitations I picked up at the thrift store.

Great tip - thank you. I've now started to use 3 in 1 glue which I think is very similar to fabritac :)

Hi Marsha - as always, thanks for your kind comment. I use the Blue Microphone Snowball ICE USB mic - it currently costs around £50 from Amazon - based on current exchange rate that would be about $60 but depending on where it's made it could be less or more expensive in the US. It plugs directly into the computer via a USB cable which is supplied with it. All in all I get reasonable results with it. The only thing I find is that I have to have it very near to my mouth for it to pick-up what I say. I don't know if that's a common issue or if it's the way that it interacts with my computer. For the price though I think it's pretty good. When I'm just talking as I create (rather than doing a voiceover) then it's the built-in mic on my video camera that picks up the sound.
