Base line sabers have come such a long way and now offer so many standard options that were once key selling points on a high end saber. This is a very nice looking, good performing saber. Thank you for the review, also, love the new backdrop!
This saber functions just fine. Necessity for dueling is a stable blade and strong hilt. This one checks both those boxes, but dueling isn't everyone's priority for a lightsaber. To each their own.

Correct, no hole. Being a thin neck that is duel worthy, I'm okay not having a covertec or D-ring. I especially like not having a control box!

A thin neck RGB baselit saber does not make much sense imo. You cannot duel with it even though it's RGB.
