my friend was like you know you won't be able to have kids without it. I was freaking out but now I just know it'll come back even if it's completely irregular
I was not quite 11 yet. My grandma was raising me and going through a divorce, and I knew what school had taught I saw a little brown blood and called my gma in the bathroom and told her I wasn't sure if that was it or not so she wanted to see. She looked and said "Oh shit, yeah that's it. " and was in a bad mood for the rest of the day. :P
I hid it from my mom too! I'm sure that's pretty common, I guess depending on the relationship. I make a point of answering any and all questions my daughter asks, and she's been in the washroom with me when I've changed my cloth pad. I don't want her to feel weird about asking anything or telling me she's started hers. I remember asking my mom about stuff (pad commercials, or her funny circular pill container!) when I was younger and got the "I'll tell you when you're older" line, which just felt horrible, and she never actually did tell me anything. My daughter's only 8, but I'm hearing more stories of girls starting their periods earlier these days. Hope she comes to me when she does! :)
I'm fourteen, no period yet, don't really care, my friends complain about it all the time. But I'm going to spain this summer with a camp organization with some friends, no parents, majority of strangers ......... Let's hope my period can wait a little longer than summer.
OH MY GOD SAME HERE GIRL!!! I WOULD ALWAYS TELL MY FRIENDS THAT I STARTED MY PERIOD BECAUSE I WAS SO EMBARASSED THAT I WAS ALMOST 14 AND ALL MY FRIENDS STARTED WHEN THEY WERE 10-11!! IM NOT ALONE 😄
My first period story is similar to yours. I have a twin and we had talked about telling each other when we started for the first time to see who would be first. Well low and behold I started first but I didn't want to be first so I didn't tell anyone and I hid it. I would ask my friends for pads at school or just stuff toilet paper in my underwear. So my sister finally started (3-4) months later and that's when I started sneaking and using her pads but I would cut them (thinking it would last me longer) lol but my mom eventually found out and asked me about it/I kinda just told her but she already knew? But then it just wasn't a big deal. 😄
My period was at 13 and I just started to notice some brownish yellow discharge stuff and I looked it up and it said if it turns brown it’s bad so I was freaking out😂 and then I was sitting at the table and I felt a gush and I thought it was the discharge and I ignored it then I went to the bathroom and saw redish brown and I thought I was dying 😂 I showed my mom crying and she was like that’s your period 😂
The Willow Witch I had that too but I have not gotten it back for 5 months But my friend got it and got hers 3 days later So it’s spotting maybe wear panty liners and be prepared with some pads in ur bag

+Christianna Taylor That was my fear when I hadn't gotten my period and all of my friends had theirs. Don't worry though! It just needs some time.
