Each lesson in the playlist will be actionable advice to help you learn and master the guitar.
In this guitar lesson I give 5 tips to help you practice the guitar more efficiently and effectively. Each tip is something I’ve learned over the many years of creating and refining my own guitar practice routine. I know many people struggle with this. There are good guitar courses out there as well as thousands of free guitar lessons on RUclips, but it’s hard to know how to practice the information you learn. Hopefully this lesson will help you create and develop your own guitar practice routine and have fun doing it.

I keep my practice list on the "watch later" RUclips facility.
It's all the videos about the stuff I'm learning, nothing else. Then I improvise. This works for me because I'm always following instructions but finding my own style.
Its progress clawed millimetre by millimetre, but it's my progress.
Thanks for all your help Chad
That's a cool way to do it. Thanks for the comment! -Chad
As usual, worth the time I spend watching your vids. I have learned Tons of useful things from you. As example, i hated Music theory, but watching your Music theory 1 & 2 was fun for me like watching a Good movie. Learned such a lot by watching those vids. You are indeed an awesome teacher. Thx for all the knowledge you spread to us.
Awesome to hear! Thanks for being part of the MFG community -Chad
Dope bruh. My list needs an update like that, I have papers... EVERYWHERE

You're welcome! Glad you're learning. Love back from the US. Thanks! -Chad
About tip #4, you mention examples like wanting to practice jazz and blues but adding those may be too much. Would it be beneficial to schedule jazz practice one day and blues the next? Do you lose too much of what you learned by skipping days? I mean if I was practicing a jazz song one day and a blues song the next, would I lose too much of what I learned previously? I know it would take longer to learn both but would it take much longer? Anyone do this in there practice?
Tip #2 is a great tip.
Thanks! -Chad
Thanks i realised keeping track of things in journal is great Petrucci talked about it i keep all exercises and my own licks in small notepads🤗plus its good to wrote down metronome results like practicing scale or lick thats how you get faster at picking🤔
Yeah that's a cool thing to do. Thanks! -Chad
Could you please share with us, how you track your progress down. Thanks in advance.

You are too much 🤴
One reason most bands break up is that making music stops being fun.
That is a big reason. What's the point if you're not having fun. Thanks! -Chad
