Ive currently got a 535d at 350bhp, never owned a vxr before, ive had cupra r, s3, etc, i keep looking at them
They're a different car all together I think

Honest question what car do you prefer, I’m a big Ford fan so i bought the st225 for loads of reasons, but I did concider the Astra vxr.
What car do you prefer out of the 2, as in more fun and being able to use daily.
I daily drive mine and it’s fine, but it is standard.
Hi mate. I get asked this a fair few times tbf. The quick answer would be the st all day long. The longer version is how slow they are compared to the vxr. I was running around 310bhp in my st and a lesser powered vxr would wave at me going past. Also the costs involved with doing things to then when they fail. I did a video on the differences and why I chose the vxr

The gearbox mount is my next mod I'm toying with so great timing for this video to release 👍.has it made any extra vibration?
It has, but very minimal! I expect it to ease up after a few miles though tbf. Nothing that's hindered the drive. If anything, it's made it a lot better
@@mastersmods what made you change the selonoid and map sensor?
@darren micklewright mainly just to refresh them as I don't want them failing or causing issues when going for mapping ect. I was however getting a boost hesitation, sometimes the car would fly and sometimes would feel like it hadn't got a turbo lol

Mrs got them for me off amazon mate. Just type in trim removal tools and you can get a box of different ones for about £10 I think

Why did you angle the vband like thst anyway. Bikt should be pointing directly at rad. Shouldn't be anywhere near the actuator arm
I was getting annoyed with trying to line it up as I didn't find it easy to do. I have the patience of a 5 year old and wasn't thinking about things like that
@@mastersmods oh right I get you. Got it done though I suppose to good on you. I wouldn't have a vxr if I couldn't fix cars myself
@@gazking08mx whys that? I started working on my own cars and learning about them bcuz I could afford to get them fixed back in the day
@@mastersmods same here couldn't afford garage prices and don't trust many with my cars
