i think this book is absolutely gorgeous!!! if there is one coloring book that i can buy and get from my first paycheck from my new job...it would be this lovely book!!! I am soo in love with this korean version of these traditional fairy tales..im in love love love with it
It is more expensive than other books but that color printing always adds to the cost :( I love those colored images so much I'm really tempted to take them out of the book so I can see them all the time! I bought mine as a birthday present to self so maybe you could ask for a contribution to your wish list when it is your birthday :) Happy coloring x
I knew I shouldn't have watched! What is it with me and Korean products, first sheet masks, lotions and potions and now coloring books!!! It's so wonderful!!!
Maybe a holiday to Korea is on the cards! Think of all that shopping you could do! You might discover other Korean products that make you swoon as well! Happy coloring x
I'm buying this book! I don't care how much it costs (unlike my reaction when I first saw this book a few weeks back) and that's because of the traditional clothes! I've watched some Period Korean series (yeah don''t unless you have 10 boxes of Tissues on hand because they take tearjerkers to a new level) and I know a little about Japanese clothing so it's irked me that there are all these coloring books and NO TRADITIONAL CLOTHING!! Like Why? Another thing why do so many of the people in the books look Caucasian? I mean if you just showed the illustration to 10 random people maybe one would say anything other than Caucasian. Maybe. But how many coloring books have Beautiful Asian looking people? I can only think of Portrait of Beauty, Beautiful Portrait of Women, Urban Dream Girl, Dream Girl and the Kimono Bijin book. I'm sure there's a couple I'm missing but still I think it's .... I don't know odd. And I get there is the anime look which is in a lot of books to. But I love that THIS book has taken the Fairy Tales and made them their own like 3:07 hahaha that's Ursula! Now I've seen in the Heartbreak-I mean Korean dramas Ladies of Wealth would have those ....pipe things. It's Hilarious that she's smoking it underwater but why let that little detail stop one's creative vision! I'm so glad you reviewed this Book! It's Beautiful! Thank You!

It's funny how some cultures are represented more or less in coloring books, maybe artists are hoping for a mainstream sales process but I don't know. When I first got it, I was a little bit confused because my head said Alice and then it took me a while and googling Korean traditional clothes to figure it out lol. There are some super quirky images in the book but the thing that I love the most are those colored images with the aged appearance to them - so beautiful. Happy coloring x
