If anyone's curious, the reason Otz accidentally sped up Nancy at about 2:00 into the chase is because Clown has a really bad bug right now (That has been in place for about 2-3 patches) where his bottles don't actually change effects when you swap them. This results in you throwing yellows when you meant to throw pinks and vice-versa. It's game-breaking if you do anything besides just throwing pinks.
Imma be honest i don’t think I’ve ever gone up against a clown that actually used their yellow bottles in chase. It’s sad really. He got a buff just to not have it taken advantage of
@@mryoda504 Not a lot of people use the yellow bottles at all because using them properly takes practice and coordination at every single loop. His yellow bottles are definitely very strong, though. I'd argue they are stronger than his pinks in what they provide. You can actually get the hit in around many pre-dropped pallets if you know how to place both your yellow + pinks together optimally. Just my two cents as an avid Clown player who has been aware of this bug for a couple months now.

To my knowledge, if they ever made yellow bottles only work for clown, there would be that one archive that would either have to be changed or just be impossible, but that alone would make it useful in chase. As it stands right now, it's good when you need to reload, you need to get a survivor on a hook fast or you need to get to a gen fast, but it is insanely difficult to use yellow bottles in chase without also giving the boost to the survivor

This is unrelated to the video (which is great btw, enjoyed it a lot!!!) but I wanted to say!! A while back when you were figuring out things to counter each killer, you were testing if it’s possible to prevent legion from vaulting a palette in frenzy and I never thought it would be useful but it actually is??? I completely negated him access to the other side and wasted his time to now get any hits on my teammates and forced him to cancel! (it was a god palette on Gideon’s so it was quite a niche situation but nonetheless it can come in clutch!!) I was being hit anyway so least i could do was stop him from chaining! Thanks for always showing and teaching us new things that sooner or later can come in very handy!! Much love! ♡

2:05 This is a bug that's been on clown a while now. Purple bottle was selected and tossed and exploded and then it turned into a yellow bottle. I'm not sure what causes it exactly. Maybe switching bottles while invigorated? No one plays clown so behavior has little reason to fix it but it makes an already bad killer even worse and discourages from actually using both bottles. I don't expect it to ever get fixed
