I never related more to a character, then I did to Ted. Sam Lloyd's Ted reminded me that even if the world constantly shits in your soup, you don't need to take it out on others to deal with it. The world may be a bad place sometimes bad things happen to good people but its never a justification to treat others poorly. RIP Sam Lloyd, thanks for the laughs an the lesson. Scrubs used music beautifully! Sometimes to tie plot points together, or to highlight the character’s struggles. Ted’s Band, the Air Bands, the tragic Broadway singer episode, Colin Hays’ several appearances, all perfect.

The Blanks (the real name of this band) is one of the few that does a Capella right. They have a good ratio of backups to singers. So many a Capella groups I've heard have twenty people doing effects and one singer-it sounds like listening to the radio with a weak signal.

Thank you Sam Lloyd for one of best depictions of the over worked and under appreciated. Ted was a character we could all relate to, you will be missed. I just introduced my partner to Scrubs and I can’t wait til we get to the seasons where The Blanks show up.

the word is titbits...I know you're referring to the episode with the irritating ambulance driver whose son died in an accident who then surmises on this very point - but the word is titbits, and tits are breasts or small birds! Hence they are small bits of what are already quite small things!
There's been many versions of Over The Rainbow, none ever came close to the Judy Garland version, but I got to say they're down the road and around the corner from it IMO.
