@@erraticgt BangThis was reducing your drag when close but not touching your car, this in turn was giving you more top end speed. A shame Stewy didn't get it, first time it was done to me I didn't either, as a Brit my understanding of ovals was somewhat limited many years ago 🙂, and hopefully they remember it for next time. Great race, thanks for sharing.
There’s more. When you press the bubbles hard enough together, they “burst” and form into one continuous flow over 2 cars. The vehicles are maximally efficient in this state, even when not physically pushing you’re making 1+1=1.5. Watch the hood flaps fluttering on real life nascars when they get close enough, that’s the telltale sign they’re conjoined aerodynamically. Difficult to pierce the “bubbles,” but easy for a partner to keep up and give you small pushes once it’s achieved
Great race, point of feedback. Your pusher looked tight throughout the race, he was consistently feeding towards the 2nd lane off of corner exit from early on. Being so fastidious with the yellow line bought you a lot, but not rolling a half to a lane off the bottom got you two separated a lot more than necessary. You may have had a win locked up on superior speed feeding the middle or even the top lane with your partner, especially considering his handling condition. When you have the raw speed, you get to make the rules regarding where you run on plate tracks
What a race, chaos at the start there - just smoke and ghostings - yeah too bad about the bangthis1991 dude, and P2 did not know what you were planning that was clear. Congratz on the FL, did not see anyone faster on the list... and on P3 from last.
It's crazy to me that the worst Forza Motorsport to date is still some also the best NASCAR game in a long while, legit might pick up just to drive these things exclusively
I've still not tried this series. With how rusty I am with the game not sure I trust myself for close racing with this looks to be focused on 🤔. If anyone sees me this weekend on it, please be aware I've had maybe 5 races since may 😂.

I don’t think the “air pocket” does anything it’s just a desync error in the games netcode. In real life NASCAR drivers are literally touching the car in front of them since the car behind has no air resistance. If you get a chance to watch a MX5 cup race at Daytona there is literally a line of 5-10 cars pushing each other
No fun when you're bumped from the pack, and I really hate it when people will try their hardest to stop you passing them for 7th or something, like bro we could team it to the front pack again 🙄 On Daytona TriOval tyres literally don't matter, you might as well run Softs and try and escape the carnage early, even 100% worn Softs turn same laps as fresh ones, the corner is so shallow and the banking does the hard work.
im the dude to push for the whole race

Why'd you quit bro? You were EPIC
Typically the type of encounter that makes you gaming buddies for ages...
Bangthis1991 knows NASCAR. I can respect that.
You are right, in real life there is a pocket or bubble of air between the bumpers that will give a pseudo bump draft
Nice! So I'm not completely dumb lol

Man I kept thinking I’m literally pushing them, but when I span the camera out I’m no where near their bumper 😂

I’ve raced with BangThis a few times in the NASCAR series. Very fun to race with and one of the few that know what they’re doing!
the power of air, vacuum and hell yeah all at 210 mph
How can I be a forza God like you? This nascar update Is the best thing to happen to forza 8 in a while.
I am far from a Forza god lmao, but you can improve just by practicing and trying to follow faster drivers

Watching you and Sunshine enjoy Nascar lately is ALMOST enough to get me to reinstall. 😂
Raced you at hakone the other day. Was a pleasure my friend. First time bumping into you online
Awesome and honorable race, love to see it 🎖
The definition of shake… and bake🤟🏼
i was racing the first week and i was just running a guy around the ring he went on to finish third very good he was very cooperative
Very nice, and I enjoyed the comentary
Brought back the tandem in NASCAR lol
I hope they make this a full time spec series!
I believe it is already
I had a race like this i pushed 1st place for 25 laps then tried passing for the win on the last corner and he put me in the wall

How do you get the rear view mirror in 3rd person? I toggled it to on in my settings but it will only pop up in the hood view
