It’s interesting to note how similar the murcielago sounds to the one in gt7 especially seeing how they rehired the guy who did the sounds for them, who left to work on gt sport/7 and is now back on the forza team.
Lamborghini Murcielago SV sounds way better now, the interior still needs an improvement though (intake sound) Lamborghini Sian FKP37 sounds great from the interior, the exterior though it doesn't sound like a stock Sian..sounds like it has Gintani/custom exhaust. McLaren P1...definitely better than the older sound, still not quite right. If you compare that to Assetto Corsa's for example its still not remotely close.
The one game that never fails to correctly get the mclaren p1 right for some reason is need for speed. It feels like they have the rights to the cars actual sound or something.
Finally, the Muricelago doesn’t sound like an Aventador anymore. Now they need to treat the same fix with Reventón. Meanwhile, the Sian sounds like it has Gintani exhaust, and P1 sounds better than before but still doesn’t have the rumbling sound from its M838T, and the Turbo spool is inaudible.
Shifting pitch doesn't make any sense! The pitch is mainly dependent on the frequency of pressure waves coming out of the exhaust. And that just depends on the engine rpm and cylinder configuration. So just lowering the pitch would result in an unrealistic behavior.

That's why the Murcielago after the update sounds like stepped pitch shifting or someone else said "pixelated". In FH5 every car has a higher pitch note compared to real life.
Also, in Update 15.0, I want them to add the Mclaren 12c and add these 2 features: A feature in the game that allows you to get the AI drivatars to have normal configurations on their cars (Ex: No spoilers, lips, different car colors). A feature in the game that allows you to customize the replay cameras in the tracks.
Literally a carried over bug from FH5 that they obviously didn’t fix for Motorsport. They fixed it in FH5, but of course that doesn’t matter in this case lol

Thats some real good improvement. However, thay Murcielago stepped pitch shifting sounds like something from the Unity3D era of mobile games. Shouldn't be a problem in 2024 but REGARDLESS. It's way better, that's good and improvments should be made in every update since they already messed up the release. Don't layoff those devs Microsoft. Let them finish their work.
Murcielago is slightly more accurate but not quite. I actually thought the Aventador V12 sound on the Murcielago sounded interesting. Sian sounds completely wrong, they should've just used the sound they used for the Murcielago before. P1 is a huge improvement, but I hope the GTR sticks with the old sound

yeah game is getting a great shape, but it doesnt bring that much players. most of times multiplayer lobbys are half filled or worse, it's a shame, great potential of fun there ! :( I think players are not aligned to microsoft stupid economic model with gamepass and FOMO.
Wow, the curse of the P1 lives on. Not one time in any of the Forza games has it sounded even close to real life, and this update just replaced the senna audio on this car for FM7's P1 sound effect, because it's very similar.
The new sounds on these cars are a lot better, but definitely need to be worked on. Mainly because they sound like they were electronically made, and not the real cars

Still none of them sound good enough or correct, Forza Motorsports sound devs have no idea what they are doing (i’ve done car sound mods for AC and it’s really not difficult to replicate an irl exhaust tone, add the cars irl pops, bangs, crackles and shift sounds). If people at home on their PC with free software can make realistic sounds (many do and can) how come a multi million pound developer can’t even get the cars to sound anything like the real things. It’s really embarrassing for T10. A car game in the modern day where the car sounds are worse than FM3/FM4. The studio based in England that does these sounds for T10 are a joke and should never be used again.
swear to god bro the forza audio team is in a big ass circlejerk with how many times they'll update the sounds every 2 seconds in each of their games and lowkey the P1 was more accurate before lol. they should focus on the pacing, content, tracks and making the game overall better rather then listen to the necessant complaning of the sound inaccuracies even though they're right. but forza will never know how to do them good apparently 🤷♀🤷♀

Dude they needa just fire the sound team. before and after it's alright but still trash. Go on RUclips and watch a murciélago fly by. Theres no raw feeling and immersion in this game. Even forza horizon 5 is better atleast. Even if it's not fully accurate. character and immersion would excuse it.
I was really happy when they finally added the VTEC sound to the Integra but this is even better
But it still sounded nothing like the ITR. I'd know, as a Honda enthusiast for 25 years, and doing motor swaps and everything else.
