That's some mighty pricey stuff right there. Those light duty portable solar panels are all well and fine, but I think you need some residential ones for more collection, you're a little short on the supply side. These systems are a great option, if you have the money.
Thanks for sharing and demonstrating how to set up and use. I've been looking for another set up for off grid. I like that you can expand the unit for whatever your needs are. I'll seriously be thinking about this. Thanks again Jim👍
lol, thanks a lot. Definitely different than my usual vids but good info for people in my situation with an off grid cabin and I got a big discount for doing the vid
I've been looking into those lately. I'm seriously thinking about investing in Bluetti. Going to watch the rest of the video now. Thanks for giving more information about the product.
JIMBO what am I chopped Liver I am here haha giggle !!! Looks great there Jimbo !!! I went solar in 2004 every thing for me !!! Panels on the house as shutters ((( smart older lady ))) plus a few inside that are in the window as I have neighbors that have sticky fingers !!! Love this sent up a lot !!! Refrigerator would be working for you none stop then for you !!! Freezer get a chest one at the cabin for you then in the winter time you can have it unplugged like I do outside for myself !!! Cold weather well Jimbo I work with it like that !!!
For my occasional drive-up, "Glamping" and Truck bed camping needs, I recently purchased the Bluetti AC70 with the B80 Expansion Battery and a 200W Solar Panel. The unit can also accommodate a second 200W Solar Panel should I decide to increase that capacity later. The AC70 is a 1000 Watt power (1800 watt Uplift Mode), 768 watt hours. The B80 Battery connected increases the watt hours to 1568 Wh. Really happy with the package of equipment...I was able to leverage some great Bluetti sale pricing recently, along with a Discount Code from another RUclipsr that got me another $200 off.
I have the old EB3A from Bluetti and I love it! Keeps my fridge and other components charged when im off grid =] Definitely upgrading to something bigger with the prime deals
@@stonedxhungry glad you like yours. Mine is a door stop, replace under warranty once after months of chasing Bluetti and it died again. Not worth the effort to deal with Bluetti again as their customer support is about as bad as it gets.
I have two Bluetti’s love them did have problems with the solar panels .. I called them they replaced the one panel but shortly after another stopped working
I noticed you have a fast moving river behind your place. Have you considered a micro hydro genny like a "Turbulent" system back there to provide a constant power source when the sun doesn't shine? Combined with these Bluetti systems it seems like there's enough flow back there that you could go completely off grid.
You want to be very careful with the solar cell surfaces of those panels...protect them from scratches. You'll also want to get a really soft cloth, or better, a very very soft bristle brush to keep dust and dirt off the solar surfaces. The CLEANER the surface, the better the solar capture.
Way less sexy, but I've been charging lead acid batteries at -30 for years at my off-grid cabin. I also don't think you are going to ever generate enough power from 700w of panels to make use of a 5000w inverter. Feels like a bit of a miss-match.
I'm fairly sure that they gave Jim all of that equipment in exchange for this excellent 20 minute advertisement. I don't have any real need for that stuff right now and I want to buy it!! A very fair trade for both sides if that's the case here.
Looks like nice kit. What I would say is that, you mentioned about charging it with a generator, that's kind of defeating the purpose. A battery is a storage device so the fuel you have used to charge the batteries would have been aswell just using the generator to power what your needing to power. On top of that you will incurr losses so you won't get everything out of a battery that you put in. By all means connect these to solar or wind turbines where the energy is free after initial costs but not to a generator that you need to buy fuel for.
Understand you have to pay the bills but this kind of video really isn’t acceptable. Easily one of the worst videos you have ever put out Much better ways to shill and make the videos interesting.
Well, they wanted a dedicated video in exchange for the product so it was this or no product and we needed the stuff. A lot of people ask me about my solar set ups and charging equipment so it is relevant to some people. I understand where you’re coming from though and appreciate the feedback.
Looks like a great system that will serve you well!
Sweet, now let's get back to the cabin Lol such a peaceful relaxing place.

Omg I was watching one of the family previous videos ! It relaxes me! And you drop a video! I love the new Off grid cabin
Wooau! New energy for The cámping in The New Cabin family 👀😃🛥️🏠💡🔦
You and I open boxes the same way. Especially the solar panels.
I love your videos! This video can be turned into a drinking game by taking a drink whenever someone says Bluetti, AC500, B300S, or PV350. 😀

Excited to see you guys set it up at the cabin!
Nice cabin you got there 👍
That’s a nice gift Jim from blue Eddie. It’s pretty nice.👍👍

Git R done! That technology has become crazy cool. Love the audience.
I would like to see how these are really put to work. Maybe you can make another video where these are actually doing work in a full-time placement.

Awesome kit! Think blow dry and curl and coffee baby. Uh - huh!
Jim sold his soul to Bluetti 😂. Nice infomercial. Back to adventures please.
Right? How bad was this

Now my wife is shopping for “prime day” as if we didn’t literally just have an Amazon package dropped off at our door half hour ago. 😂
Love this set up cant wait to see how many ways you use it❤
Thanks ive been looking into this. Great information
Hahaha love it! "Getting crazy with the power tools!" 😂😂
Keep the great content coming, sir!
Keep in mind that a lot of 120v extension cords can get pretty warm above 15A, if not a little smoldery.
Thanks Jim, way to go! 👏👏👏🤩🤩🤩💯💯💯

, they already are completely off grid.
Just saying
@@reubenj.cogburn8546 oh cool! I think I remember now that you mention it. Thanks!
it real nice the way you showed everything i like that thank you for sharing you r introduction was great yes you should be payed
Love u guys! Blessings.

From what I understand, if you are using off grid, you can sell back to hydro? and get reimbursed on your hydro bill? Might wanna check that out too

Bluetti should pay you for the most well done ad for a product on RUclips ever! Great job as always!
He was.
Should pay? You really think he spent 20 mins shilling for nothing?
No prices listed. This was a rough one Jimbo
Not to much beats the Honda generators. (If any)
Bluetti won't ship to Alaska. Just in case anyone was wondering. I tried.
You good with techy stuff but..probably work for you.
Don't you use a small one when canoe tripping?
Which one is that?
jackery 100 percent
Good demonstration! I agree, Bluetti should reward you for your free advertising!❤❤❤

Did you actually test it at -25 outside?
No chance they hold up in that kind of weather

Nice video
Jim is a bit crazy ….in a good way.
Well. get that money i guess!
Haha, right. I actually didn’t get paid for this but I got the products in return for the video.
@@JimBairdAdventurer You guys are the BEST. Keep doing what your doing. Raise that family right!!!!!!
Yes typo in title
Just a couple bucks worth eh lol
Hadir meyimak kawan 🙏👍
Hope it was free! Good commercial.
What did it all cost?
You know when they don’t mention cost it’s scary high.
No idea how someone does a ad with out prices attached per unit
I actually directed people to the link in the videos discription a couple times and mentioned you can get more information there
Check out the link in the videos description for more info.
No dirt bike man!
To help ya out further Jim - It's pronounced Blu-yeti Not Blu-tee :)
👍👍🤠
🖐😎👍
edit your title
you spelt it wrong
Good job on Bluetti!
They don't get my vote as they won't ship to Alaska. Only way for me to get one and drive it up.
Bluetti? Are you joking? Nobody uses a low surge, portable power station that offers a short life expectancy to power a cabin.
Glad to see people are seeing through this garbage.
Bad call taking in this kind of sponsorship
Portable but not portagable 😂
First
Too much like an infomercial
Not everything can be an expedition
I’m ok with it!
