Just to let you know, Jinjer and Napalm are very reaction friendly. I don't know of anyone having an official Jinjer video hit with a claim.

I also love Jinjer and actually you can`t really go wrong with any of their songs because as wiser people than me have already stated independently: "Jinjer is incapable to write a bad song!"

I`d be very curious what you think of another Ukrainian metal band called Velja. They have two particularly good songs: "Rigor Mortis" and "Ode for a disfuncional trombone"(well, something along that line...👀, the title is awful and awfully long but the song is really good!)
Or another band coming from Moldova: The singer of "Infected Rain" (also a really good metal band but anyway..) Lena Scissorhands is featured in "Seas on the Moon"`s "Sanctuary". 😁👍

to see some of my favourite breakdowns from jinjer, you guys should check out the music videos for their songs "ape" and "home back".
ape was jinjer's first song where their drummer wrote it all, and it's a prog metalcore powerhouse. it doesn't get enough recognition as being one of their best songs, it'll have you moving non-stop. good luck finding a decent place to pause, though. lol
home back is another proggy song written by them, but it's about the war in their home region of donbas, ukraine, that started in 2014. obviously, it's unfortunately very applicable with current events. it has plenty of weird time signatures and a genre-bending interlude that i think y'all will really enjoy, plus a crushing breakdown where tati goes IN.
Her deepest growl to date in my opinion. Love that song

Arch enemy nemesis with Angela gosgow is really great unleash the archers are a really good power metal band awakening is an epic song with badass drums bass and guitars and brandy Is a badass with her vocals
If you'd like something short, challenging and visually arresting I recommend Ape (omv) - I mean it's not in the top 10 of entry-level Jinjer tracks but I think you'd enjoy it
Ya, Ape is pretty advanced, but it's *so* awesome!
Sooooo many songs to check out but if you want an immense breakdown then watch the live 2017 version of Who is Gonna be the One from Jinjer. That S#$t is off the chart
Believe me jinjer live they are gonna knock your socks off. Their live shows among the best and they give it all. I have seen them live and you might want to protect your ears to some extend offcause. Tati is allready married and unfortunedly not to me either but trust me you will love her even more once you,ve seen them live. So have fun in august.

I never understand people griping about pauses. It’s a reaction! If you want to hear the song all the way through……..listen to the song. I personally find it boring watching someone watch a video, say absolutely nothing and then when it’s over go “that was great see you next time!” Like no. Talk about it, that’s why I’m here!

Welcome to the wonderfully crazy world of Jinjer! I'm enjoying y'all's reactions. Vee, you're gonna be a metalhead before you know it. I'm an old school metal's rocker from the 80s and Jinjer is such an incredible blend of musicianship and story telling. They remind me of Iron Maiden with the way they tell the story in their lyrics. That would be another great band to broaden your metal horizon.

About five-six years ago when I first heard Jinjer they pretty much instantly became my favorite band and have remained as one. For your journey into metal I suggest checking out Insomnium - While We Sleep. It’s heavy but also very beautiful piece of music.
To keep with the female singer theme, check out Lacuna Coil. They are an Italian metal band with two singers, one female Christian and a male singer Andrea.

Nice to see that you have found the world of Jinjer🤘 There are plenty of amazing female vocalists in metal. You should check out:
Arch Enemy - Handshake with Hell (band with long career, amazing vocalist)
Harper - Weight Of The World (12 year old (!!!) girl showing some cool vocals)
Face Yourself - Shadow Self or Hypothermia (newcomer in metal, so talented vocalist, going to be HUGE)
Yeah, Teacher Teacher would be a good one. For the harder side of Jinjer you might try Sit, Stay, Roll Over.
If you want metal with a unique twist, try Sound Struggle. They meld progressive metal with jazz funk. Check out their live performance of The Disease.
Maybe a song to ease him into metal is "Watch the world burn" from Falling in Reverse... it's a mix of rap (goood one eminem level) and metal that will surprise him ... genres are starting to be something from the past, and new bands are constantly experimenting and mixing genres with awesome results ... another band that comes to my mind is Bloodywood with their song "Dana Dan".. mixing indian folk with metal and nuMetal.. it's quite impressive.
As for Ginger... you should check their live video of "Pit of Conciousness" next.. it's another amazing live performance of one of my favourite songs ...
It would be awesome to see the live concert from your perspective but also if its your first metal gig record one song of each then turn everything off and enjoy the experience because u only get one first metal gig and they are something! Enjoy it and have fun

You might want to try some of the band members favourite bands. I would suggest Opeth - Ghost Of Perdition (official live video) or Meshuggah - Ligature marks.
Need to introduce him to Slaughter to Prevail. Alex is incredible. Start him off with Demolisher. Also throw in some Spiritbox. But as far as Jinjer goes, Teacher Teacher and Tatitana;s One Take Vocal of Judgment and Punishment.

I have no issue whatsoever with pauses. But they're best done at a natural break in the music, and it's best to back the video up about 5 or 10 seconds before resuming.
