Just recently brought a Captur for my wife - 2017 1.5 dCi Signature Auto - love your video on this car Bob. (Martin Harlow College). Only found out Today that rear seat bench moves forward and back. But my wife's favourite feature - Sean the male , Irish voice on the Sat-Nav. The Signature has full leather trim, camera folding mirrors etc, keyless entry. 65MPG from a Auto!
Again a nice review Bob! Especially the camera view focused on the dash is pleasant. The Captur is indeed a nice/funny looking car, but the fact about the chrome is true. Last week when I went for maintenace of the Peugeot 508, I saw a 2008 standing in the showroom. My first impression was... too much chrome for me. But I was wondering, which one would you choose when I talk about the Peugeot 2008 and the Renault Captur (maybe even the Nissan Juke)? Greetings!
It must be some kind of confusion! So is in that capture old 1.2 16v petrol (i dont know that is ever build in capture) 1.2 tce turbo petrol engine or 0.9 tce turbo petrol engine??
the old school 1.2 16v "type D7F" make 75 horsepower The 1.2 TCE is the newest with direct injection and turbo charger make up to 120 horspower. If you want a good everyday petrol engine take the TCe 90, 3 bangers, a small turbo charger, no direct injection and a timing chain !
The French have not been launching much new cars since the recession so any new car is a big deal. Renault needs a new Laguna/Fluence/Megane asap. The transmission and engines have not been replaced for years. Even the diesels are getting old (PUG has BMW to work with)
Take it from me as an owner, don’t buy one. The driving experience is such... every bump is rattle squeak rattle squeak rattle squeak. The seats rattle, the dash board rattles, the seatbelt clips rattle. The tracks that the rear seats slide on rattle and squeak. The glove box rattles, and so on. The general cheap quality of all the fittings inside means everything judders and moves with every bump. Also, the front bumper is made of such thin plastic that when a bird hit my car it smashed a hole in the front of it. By the way, the front wings are plastic to.

I checked with Renault Ireland just to be sure, it's a 1.2 petrol manual. The 900cc version isn't out here yet, it won't be here for a few weeks
Cheers David! Great white north of what? I thought Renault came out everywhere in Europe
Nice review Flav. Too bad these aren't available in the Great White North. These Renaults have some great style.
I think there is a confusion on the engine. Isn't that the 900cc Turbo you were driving ? 1.2 is only with the EDC gearbox afaik

Riff Raff Journalist in Foxrock? One does not like to hear about this while having morning tea and scones!! Ha! Nice review keep up the great work Bob
when is the ZOE coming to the United States?
So nice to see an Irish review the 1.5 diesel is pretty nifty
Bob, are you test driving Peugeot 2008 anytime soon?
Hi This was a review from 2013 any advice on which engine for a 2017 model please.:)
it would be better if it gets the new 1.6 dCi 130hp engine.. beautiful, powerful and economical engine
Bobby, the Great White North is Canada.

"looking at the peasants" LOL. Brilliant review!
What kind of power does the 1.2 make?

1.2? no thanks... top review as always. Lets just hope no one from Foxrock is watching your videos... ;-)
Think he means Canada.
