    I forgot to add the Kessig Wolf Run in this league! But it's part of the 2 Amulet kill to replace Sunhome. Please keep that in mind when considering the new haste package!
    What do you think of the new hasteland stuff?

      I think it is a little more vulnerable to removal, but it is a tapped land vs a tapped bounce land, which depends on your preference. It is also less reliant on Vesuva, which can matter. To me, both manabases are very comparable, and more of a matter of preference when deciding what is best. With Hanweir you do get access to hasting a Titan without an Amulet far more often, so it does have that going for it.
      Since I like Mosswort Bridge so much, I am basically stuck with Slayer's stronghold package, for that free +2 power. However, I've always liked Hanweir specifically because of the no amulet lines that it unlocks. I've even considered running both haste lands and cutting Sunhome, simply because it is "win more" but eventually put Sunhome back in just for the "simpler" win, but I really do dislike the card, almost as much as I dislike Cultivator Colossus.
      Right now, I am really liking a single copy of Echoing Deeps and Lotus Field alongside a few Elvish Reclaimer to add some juicy lines into the deck.

      DANGGGG, another Colossus hater! There aren't very many of us. :) I agree, though at one time I'd have said Hanweir was definitely worse, Littjara and Kessig in combination makes it just as viable (if not better) than the Boros package. I wouldn't be too surprised to see it widely adopted. It's very nice that it makes for less Vesuva-reliant lines. I wonder if Vesuva could maybe be cut from the list.
      Have you considered Teetering Peaks for your Mosswort? That could be interesting. Reclaimer is sick, and Lotus Field is a very underexplored card in Amulet, but I honestly am not a huge fan of Echoing Deeps. Too many hoops to jump through, hosed by grave hate.

      Yes, I could see Vesuva being cut from the list, but then you'd have to play more Valakut (at least 2 combined is basically "required"). I've not really considered Teetering Peaks seriously. I looked at it before, and considered it, but not as a way to cut Slayer's Stronghold and Boros Garrison, just as a way to count to 10 easier (which required double amulet or dryad, both of which got me to 10 anyway). Thanks for the suggestion, I will have to test it out.
      Yes, I really love Relcaimer + Lotus Field. There's nothing better than catching my opponent off guard blocking with my little 1/2 that grows itself into a 3/4 when it finds Lotus Field. Lotus field also grants some additional mana over the bounces, even though it is only single use. But that is why I found Echoing Deeps to be useful. It isn't needed for any of the lines, so yes if they have coincidental gravehate, it goes out. However, it allows us to not care if we sacrifice our haste land to Elvish Reclaimer or Lotus Field, or even use Lotus Field a second time. It adds some nice lines with very little investment (don't run too many non-green sources obviously).
      I've found it to work quite nice to be honest.

      @@redfacedmenaceKanister talked about in the boros package just literally swapping sunhome for mirror lake and keeping the garrison + stronghold as another option. You titan, get mirrorlake and SGC, copy titan, get garrison + stronghold, haste both (both 8 power now), return a random other land off garrison. Then both attack, first get's selesyna + gruul turf, make WWRRGGGG, then get vesuva whatever on second one, vesuva copies stronghold and you can make them both 10 power for 20 damage. Losing vigilance from stronghold is a huge bummer but hanweir being better with mana cost is certainly nice

    Love the video, thanks for trying this out! Looks like a sweet mana base, though I wonder what you think we could do about fitting in a mycosynth garden or two. The mycosynth would allow more double amulet situations and lead to more mirrorlaking!

    • @redfacedmenace
      @redfacedmenace  7 месяцев назад

      Mycosynth is pretty sweet, but it’s hard to fit it in a manabase like this where so many land slots are already taken up (and I even forgot to add Kessig! XD) I think it definitely belongs in a typical manabase with the new kill land package, but I don’t know what you could cut here to add it.

    Love the deck!!
    Background music is perfect!
    17:34: I think you get map here instead. Copy sunken. Transmute for next turn titan -> win.
    Citadel seems nuts and makes saga better.

      @redfacedmenace  7 месяцев назад

      That's a very cool line! Usually you can't transmute in spots like that, but Sunken Citadel gets the job done AND plays Titan the turn after!

    To be honest, there's so many cards that synergize so well that are viable for amulet titan, that I am surprised the lists have homogenized as much as they have. I miss seeing some of the crazy Japanese lists where they run cards that seem "random" until you think of how they are using them in a way nobody thought of previously. We need more innovation in the lists, since there's so much space for it.

    • @redfacedmenace
      @redfacedmenace  7 месяцев назад

      Amulet's room for innovation is imo a huge reason why the deck is so popular! Looking back over my channel you'll probably see a wide variety in builds, ranging from small changes to massive overhauls. It's been a big part of what makes Amulet so enjoyable to me. :)
      Btw I still haven't forgotten about Mosswort Bridge! I'll make it happen.

    1st match reminds me of a debate i had regarding the difficulty of playing murktide, i was saying it's easy to play, i was countered with "wait till you see a bad murk player". Well, 1st match i have to say, that player must certainly find murk hard to play lol, that was some freaking high level of poor play there

    • @redfacedmenace
      @redfacedmenace  7 месяцев назад

      Everyone has to start somewhere! :)
      Honestly I think Murk is a very difficult deck to play. You have to know how to be aggressive enough to win but also controlling enough to keep the edge. But also not so controlling that you lose the tempo of putting your opp on the back foot. You have to play a half controlling game with limited resources, it’s walking a very fine line.

    Hey hey, I'm not much of a brewer and I don't play on MTGO, only my local meta in paper. I tend to play stock standard but love to see the iterations you're working on, both the ones that are more conservative and the cheeky ones to jam new cards and see what happens.
    So what's the deal with this Littjara/Hanweir/Kessig over Stronghold/Boros/Sunhome? Seems very recent.
    Cause Littjara just seems great in general, without even considering Hanweir/Kessig. I am a huge fan of stronghold giving vigilance and the +2/0 so I kind of like the idea that Daniel said below of cutting sunhome for it. But maybe I'm just too stuck in my ways on Stronghold over Hanweir

    • @redfacedmenace
      @redfacedmenace  7 месяцев назад

      The Littjara/Hanweir/Kessig thing is popping up recently because it was only recently that some smart person (idk who T_T) figured out that Kessig lets you kill with double Amulet without needing Dryad. Kessig and Littjara both have better utility when naturally drawn than Sunhome does. I don't know if it's correct to switch, but it's a real contender now that we're not reliant on Dryad for that algorithm.
      You also get the added benefit of NOT having to run Boros Garrison, which feels really really nice, though maybe that's just bias. You're technically on 1 fewer bouncelands, which seems objectively bad but Boros rarely helps cast anything. Again, maybe it's just bias from Boros feeling so awful at times -- maybe having +1 bounceland is better, even if it IS Boros. You can also splash red cards easier since you get to swap the Selesnyas for Gruuls. Overall, vigilance seems like a small price to pay, but who knows?
      The annoying part of keeping in Boros/Slayers is that you still have to run Boros Garrison. xD Maybe it's correct though, I really can't say.

      @@redfacedmenace Hmm could consider subbing out one of the flex spots (3rd garden, ottowara, move cavern SB) for another selesnya/rot farm/gruul if only 9 bounce lands is a concern. I spent a LOT of time think tanking on this today, immediately after commenting.
      I'm actually headed to a tournament tomorrow and I think I'll run Hanweir/Litt/Kess. I only did a few reps but it feels a hell of a lot better to have those in opening hand. They're more relevant on the board after you get the combo, don't tempo hit yourself as hard because of Boros/Vesuva bounces. You have a lot of opportunities to fetch utility lands like valukut as your Hanweir activation and on the second titan attack fetch trigger in the double amulet line. Litt + SGC, Hanweir + Valukut, Kess + Gruul, X + X, incredibly flexible! Double bounce for 24 damage, Boseiju, Tolaria West, garden, saga. All the while diversifying your threats with two titans instead of one. You should post a league with it, it's sick.

      I think I'm going to sub out a dismember for bone crusher in the SB. Since it is a pact-able instant speed answer to Magus. I'm a bit surprised you're not running EEs for rhinos or artifact removal besides the 4 Boseijus.
