- Here it is, the full campaign, it's been long in the making. Can the three idiots beat Barotrauma? I guess we'll have to find out.

Barotrauma is a 2D co-op survival horror submarine simulator, inspired by games like FTL: Faster Than Light, Rimworld, Dwarf Fortress and Space Station 13. It’s a Sci-Fi game that combines ragdoll physics and alien sea monsters with teamwork and existential fear.

Is the state of barotrauma content really that bad?
@@Ciron_YT I mean I don’t watch to many barotrauma videos so that I can experience everything, but yea couple months is very normal for a video.

editing this must have been a behemoth of a task, props.
I don't know exactly but my guess would be around 270 hours of playing the game, editing, creating a thumbnail etc
The main reason it takes so long is because I'm still learning editing and the fact that I do subtitles by hand.

found a cool mod called flash campaign or something like that, it makes the map 3 times shorter and skills and talents level 3 times faster and its actually a good way to play the game without the dread of a 40 hour campaign
the biomes are also changed to fit with the quick progression

It was a combination of our captain having a meltdown about his class being useless and then our officer teleporting the submarine into the eye... I hope it doesn't happen again 😅

I feel there really should be more Barotrauma content than there is. The game has potential, especially with the right kind of teammates haha.
PS: I'd recommend making a rule that no one does as much as touch the cheat mode, just in case. Unless the entire party is fine with doing a no achievement run.
PPS: The answer is probably no, but you never know unless you ask/propose lol. If you'd like an additional someone to join you, I have the game and have rather flexible schedule currently so could potentially be another party member, but no pressure ofc.
I'll most likely try to get a bigger group for the modded run. We've been playing the current campaign with a session every two weeks or so. And I would rather not torture anyone new with a slow schedule like that for the current campaign 🤣
When we're finally getting close to finishing the 2nd campaign I'll probably make a discord server and see how many(if any) viewers would like to try to join in for the modded campaign

Coming across this video made me reinstall and launch it again heh, probably over a year has passed since I played it, I saw there were some updates since. I probably need or at least should make some updates to my custom submarine... man I forgot how to do stuff in there haha.

Sometimes I just find unprotected PUCS storage in stations, that video is one of these situations
17:56 oh, that’s a fun one, it basically means something scarier are them all. One time pack of mud raptors ate a pirate submarine, that I should’ve clear out. Pirate NPC’s managed to clear all the leaks, but unfortunately all the stuff except one assistant was dead, so he couldn’t make the sub run. I boarded the ghost-sub full of bodies of pirates and mud raptors, and find the last pirate bleeding out, on the floor.
52:53 little tip, strap flashlight on gun and don’t forget to use flares. I underestimated them in past, but they are weary helpfull

Sadly most games are more fun with others, I know there are some public servers or you might find someone to play with on the Undertow Games discord server honestly not sure, I might do some events with viewers in the future but I have nothing planned for now.

How do you get the in game voice chat to work because for some reason it wont work for me and my friends
Try setting it to voice activity then try each mic input device to see which one works. And just in case check if your VOIP input/output aren't at 0%
How long did this video take to make? Editing and everything included

@@Ciron_YT wow thats dedication man, im sure you know that if you are that dedicated to making good content and especially long-form barotrauma content (which nobody does), then you're bound to get a lot of subs and stuff, keep up the good work man.
You guys have good chemistry, and your editing is good, but I have no idea what is going on from an overall perspective. This is just snippets of small moments, and it's impossible to understand why you are where you are, or why you're doing what you're doing. Just one random moment after another, it feels like

I understand what you mean by that. I never expected the video to go as far as it has so I never considered fixing the flow of the video for those that have never even played Barotrauma. When I finally make the Full Movie for the next campaign I will do some story telling to make it work as one consistent story rather than multiple sessions slammed into one.
