  • Today we are featuring a very popular boat model and size, the Stryker HD 380 (12' 5") with a Mercury 20EH (Electric Start)
    The size and portability of the HD 380 makes this the perfect size for families, and 2-3 people with gear for fishing, floating, hunting etc.
    In 2022, we completely redesigned the hull and transom angles to allow the water to be dispersed along the sides of the boat, this allows less water to travel inside the boat.
    All of our HD models come with a 15" one piece, aluminum transom.
    As well as a few extra scotty bases preinstalled for extra fishing gear, such as bait casters, trapease, bait board, anchor lock, anchor kit, fly rod holder, depth master etc. We are running a Mercury 20EH as well as a trolling motor.
    The HD 380 inflatable comes with an extra layer of fabric, 1.9mm under the hull of the boat and around the seating area, as well as Stryker Shield. Also included is a Bimini top for extra protection during sunny and rainy days.
    Thanks for watching!

    i would love to see a 420 pro with a 15' transom, for those that love the short shaft engines like i do. beautiful boats

    • @StrykerInflatableBoats
      @StrykerInflatableBoats  Год назад

      Hi Randy, you can custom order one, or we can have the transom cut down….or even better yet, sell the short and buy a long shaft. The 20” tubes of the 420 make operating a short shaft not ideal. The long shaft has many advantages. Either way we will come up with a solution that works for you, when your ready 💯😎⚓️

    I can't wait to get my Stryker 380 HD. It will be my first purchase after retirement in November. My question is ,how does it hold up to being deflated after each use.

      Hi, they hold up great to folding. I’ve never seen an issue from folding each use ever😎⚓️

      You should think about a small trailer to optimize the usage of your boat. Inflating/deflating it at every time is a lot of work.

    Looks like a good lake boat! I wouldn’t fancy it at sea the bow isn’t turned up enough for me

    • @StrykerInflatableBoats
      @StrykerInflatableBoats  Год назад

      Ok…. That’s a weird comment. We design specifically for the ocean. Our bows sit substantially higher than most on plane and we do a steep rise under boat as well to keep interior much dryer. Probably hard to tell from your keyboard 🤔

    Hi Jarred, nice video once again, could you make a video on how to properly setup the outboard trim level/angle on a 320 pro with a 9.9, i got mine and my nose is always up in the air with no speed improvement from 50% to 100% throttle, im pretty sure im doing someting wrong. Thanks!

    • @StrykerInflatableBoats
      @StrykerInflatableBoats  2 года назад

      Hi, sounds like you have too much weight in the back. Try moving your weight forward while starting out, or having a second person in the bow opposite side of the boat from you.
      Trim/Angle really only come in to play when your planning.
      Proper weight distribution is the most important factor to getting a boat up on plane.😎⚓️

      @@StrykerInflatableBoats You were right!!, I succeed to get it on plane today on the river, i had to move the heavy battery in the front and my girlfriend on the front and myself a little pass the middle, i went up to 31km/h even with the bimini cover installed. i think the main issue is my Yahama 9.9 long shaft is quite heavy and the pro transome is quite big too. Thanks again for the tips!

    Would you bring this on a fly in moose hunt or go with the 420 size? I want to fly it up from the lower 48 and take up back rivers off the Yukon river.
    Or what would your raft recommendation be for a situation like that.

    • @StrykerInflatableBoats
      @StrykerInflatableBoats  Год назад

      Hi Jeff, if your 2 or 3 people the 380 works well for this, as it’s lighter and more manageable, especially in a plane. The 420 is considerably bigger when setup and very nice to hunt from as it has 20” tubes rather than 18” tubes as the 380. I’ve spent a lot of time hunting from both and they both work really well.

    Do you leave the back towing wheels on permanently on the boat and in the water no rusting or obstruction?

    • @StrykerInflatableBoats
      @StrykerInflatableBoats  2 года назад +1

      Hi, the wheels come off after launching. They would create too much drag to remain attached. The brackets are the only item that remain attached to the transom.
