We need physicality
Does anybody in the Sabres organization watch the playoffs? The Sabres are constructed wrong. There is no way the team can compete physically with the playoff teams like Florida, Rangers, Stars, etc. They are way too soft and lack toughness. They will get blown out! None of the prospects they are pinning their hopes on have the necessary profile to win in the playoffs. Rosen, Savoie, Kulich, Ostlund, and others are skilled players, but none of them can win all those battles along the boards. Who do they have who can win the physical battles that dominate the playoffs? It seems like their goal is to just barely make the playoffs. They need substantial upgrades in the roster if they ever expect to compete in the playoffs and win the Stanley Cup!

Good thing this is a promotion for a guy who has demonstrated he can win in the playoffs. Seth Appert was great in Rochester.
Come on man they have accomplished a great foundation and a way more healthy organization.. they are about to turn the corner which will make all this patience worth it

I don't know. I think he has a point. Relegation works quite well for European Soccer. Maybe the Sabres wouldn't be a 13-year running joke if there were repercussions for it from the league.
