She was the first one of the five 787's that were slated to go to Hainan Airlines that Lufthansa swooped up when Hainan ran into trouble. She is a special one to me.
I want to see the interior to see if they have upped their game. Their interiors are usually one or two generations behind since they have a captive german market.
I believe the First 5 Lufthansa Dreamliners were meant to go to Hainan Airlines, Yes according to Sam Chui website they will come with Hainan Airline seats. We will see after that. I guess Lufthansa will launch there new business class seats in 2023

Very nice video and a true beautiful plane. I have watched his arrival with highpass and lowpass 07R at Frankfurt Intl. The drop of bitterness, it will replace the well known Airbus A 340 and the "Queen of de Skies" Boeing 747. That may take several years to come, but at least those both planes will vanish from Lufthansa´s fleet. 😪
Every airline, whether it's from the Americas or Europe or Asia, buys their inventory from each maker. Singapore Airlines buys both Boeing and Airbus, same with KLM, Lufthansa, and Cathay Pacific.
Most people from other countries think Lufthansa is something great but the reality is that they were nearly bankrupt and their pilots get insane salaries, still demanding more money
