Not sure what the American experience is like since this is the only comic con ive been too, from the pictures Ive seen looks like its more open which is what I like anyway.
Hello. Fellow italian cosplayer here. First things first: i've never been to America but i made a bit of research and many convention are only accessible by invitation. I'm not very experienced in the matter, but usually many many cosplay videos show american conventions to be held within hotels or specific "closed" areas with food or many floors to explore, with stand and other stuff. If the question is about how american people do cosplay...well...many people are very good at it and many many more are not that "kid friendly" as it could be a convention like this in Osaka. It's very particular, extreme at times, even for conventions like the european ones. I'm of course more accustomed to them but that level of...let's just say "bravery" is very rare to see in Europe.
Thank you for the Comic Con walking tour. Always makes me happy to see people out and about, especially when there's cosplay involved. Committing to multiple viewings to see if I can spot any Pikachu or Wolverine cosplayers.
