    Here's hoping From Software maybe ads native ultrawide support, and DLSS and FSR.

      120 FPS support would be my most requested thing. Armored Core 6 can run at 120 so I don't know why can't they update ER to support it as well. Maybe they are waiting for the PS5 PRO...

    There wasn't much coverage of the ray tracing in this game so it's nice to see. It helps future proof the game since this game will be played for a long time to come. As you said hopefully they add upscaling/frame gen options and remove the FPS cap at some point too. Also nice (or not..) to see the game still stuttering so much. Lots of people say the game has no stutters anymore, but if the game is stuttering on a PC with these specs then I have no idea what version people are playing.
    Would be nice to see a 7900XTX video in this game with the ray tracing too, wonder how heavy it is on there.

      I imagine after playing for a long time the stutters become less frequent but They're still there to some extent. I think many people tend to overlook flaws if they really like something.
      I could check the game on the XTX. Probably do it at the same resolution, the ray tracing would be very costly at 4K, even on a 4090 probably.

    I can never get north of 60fps with Ray Tracing in Western Liurnia with a 4090. The RT wasn’t implemented well in this game unfortunately.

    • @TerraWare
      @TerraWare  3 месяца назад

      They've apparently optimized the RT performance with the latest update according to WccFtech and a subscriber of mine said they were getting more FPS now after the update with RT enabled.

    Interesting how the game looks much better without RTX on. Shows how brilliant the art direction for the game was.

    You're absolutely strong enough to take on Radahn (he's mid early boss difficulty) but you still need time for Mohg. You can actually access him early through a certain questline I won't spoil unless you ask for it but if you skip it (which I did my first playthrough cause that NPC annoyed me lol) you still get to him as you explore one of the end game areas which I will also not spoil unless you ask me to. Personally I took on Mohg at level 85 ish first time around and it felt just right.
    Others say lvl 150 which is the end game meta for pvp and maybe they're right cause it seems to be the recommended level for the DLC based on a few really early reviews. Second time I took on Mohg it was NG+ and I had my maxed out build at level 150 and it was way too easy so that should give you a clue on how much you need to be leveled.
    Now a couple important things for your build. Vigor in this game scales wayyyyy better than any other souls game, get it to 50 (trust me on this), 60 is the hard cap before diminishing returns. It's crucial that you have enough vigor. Now endurance it depends, personally I leave it at 25 and dump everything else to vigor and my damage stats (depending on the build I'm using at the time, usually strength). I feel stamina management is really forgiving in this game and you never feel that you don't have enough endurance. Think they did it on purpose so you can pump vigor higher which is probably why it scales better.
    Also damage scaling is better too, for example a weapon with A or S scaling in let's say Dexterity, will scale well all the way to 80 ish dexterity with 60 being the soft cap. It's crazy. Previous games had a soft cap of 40 ish.
    Also you're fat rolling, 11:52 you can see you have Heavy Load, you want that to be medium. That's more important than all the vigor in the world. Maybe drop the shield for now till you get equipment load amulets. Anyways take your time with it and play it the way you like, it's really flexible build wise outside the vigor thing (bosses hit real hard after mid game), literally almost any build you can come up with will work.
    Also whyyyyy wouldn't they add up-scaling😭 I can't even use RT on low with my 6800xt loool

      Thanks for the tips. This was already one of the biggest games, with the DLC it will probably be the biggest ever. I wouldn't be surprised if it's bigger than most AAA games these days.
      Gotta admire the big balls of From Software though to release a DLC you can't access unless you've nearly beat the game lol. I can tell you're passionate about this game though. You must be overhyped for this DLC.

      @@TerraWare Maybe a bit too hyped for my own good. This can't be healthy...
      But yea to be fair they always did this with their DLC, they've always been significantly harder than the base games so either way you had to progress a fair bit even if you could access them early. This can be accessed early as well if people really want to but you do need to be a bit of a masochist.
      Imo Souls games are amazing because of the rich lore, design and in depth combat mechanics not the difficulty (although a welcome addition)

      @@constantinesoldatos It's perfectly healthy lol. We all have those games that click the right way. Be thankful its not some mobile game lol.
      Anyway so I will keep your tips in mind. I am too heavy for my own good and will keep the build tips priority in mind. My biggest obstacle at the moment is not knowing which direction to head towards.
      Do you think I should maybe try to make my way towards Radahn?

    • @constantinesoldatos
      @constantinesoldatos 3 месяца назад +1

      @@TerraWare Yes I would work my way through Caelid at this point but wrapping up Liurnia if you haven't yet is perfectly valid as well. If you have then do Caelid before you can progress further. Try to keep an eye out for structures in general such as towers, ruins, mines (mines have a ton of upgrade mats).
      If you do go to Caelid I'd start from Limgrave where the Smoldering Church is.

    I can't get into this game!
    Dark Souls 2 and 3 are in my top 5 games but for some reason I seriously struggle with Elden Ring.
    And to be controversial I think it's the open world aspect?
    I dunno I just feel the more linear path on the Dark Souls game suited the game play better..

    • @TerraWare
      @TerraWare  3 месяца назад +1

      I can understand that. It can be overwhelming. Perfect example is at the moment I don't really know which direction to go towards.

    • @Spratty-wb3is
      @Spratty-wb3is 3 месяца назад

      @TerraWare Exactly!
      I had to search RUclips a lot to figure which order of direction I needed to take as it's not obvious from the start or even at any point.
      Dark Souls obviously by the time you reached the next Zone you were hopefully at the right level you needed to be!

    • @valentinvas6454
      @valentinvas6454 3 месяца назад +1

      @@Spratty-wb3is There aren't really wrong directions in this game. Except going to Caelid at the very beginning. BTW I don't know where you are right now but Elden Ring has tons of linear places that are closer to the Dark Souls 3 experience. The underground areas especially Ainsell river. The legacy and medium sized dungeons. Especially Leyndell and the sewers below it. If you didn't reach Leyndell capital yet pls don't give up. That place is easily the pinaccle of their level design. Getting to the Volcano Manor is also a pretty linear experience as you climb the mountain.

      @valentinvas6454 I'll give it another go!
      I did try for about 30mins yesterday but wasn't really feeling it.
      I dunno I just found myself lost at the start of the game and seemed I was looking more on youtube then playing the game.
      I'm pretty sure I ran into a boss fight that I really shouldn't have and needed to be at a much higher level.
      The underground part sounds good however...

      @@Spratty-wb3is Oh so you are still at the beginning? I guess you haven't even reached Stormveil Castle or Morne Castle at the very South. Oh boy you didn't even scratch the surface of awesomeness. I suggest clearing the catacombs and caves at first. None of those have very tough bosses. Also the mine north of Agheel lake since it has a bunch of smithing stones for weapon upgrades.

    Your not even 1/2 way through the total game. Keep at it. You should be strong enough to beat Rahdan & Mohg around level 100.
