      @niquelynn. Love this video.....But can you do a video showing how you comb and smooth the hair while braiding. That part is the hard part than adding hair. Smoothing the fake hair with the real hair is what makes the style neat and flawless. Thanks!💕

    I'm more of a method 3 person. But braids to the scalp are not my strongest skill (mostly box braids)...I'll try the others to perfect it!

      Goodmorning, if you are trying to work on getting it closer. Method number 1 or 2 would be great for you. Theres something about leaving a strand down that gives your more control of the braid in my opinion! Thank you for the compliment as well. Hope that helps sis

    Your work is phenomenal and you are a great teacher. I’ve been braiding hair for over 50 years. In method # 4 we use to call it underhand braiding and the others overhand but that was a long time ago LOL! Keep up the great work I love it 🥰

    I am awe struck,you are the first person that I have seen to show how to cornrows with knuckles down,I cant do it with knuckles up,thank you. All the braids came out the same,and all had different methods. You are good God bless

    You are the Goddess of Braiding. Not only did you braid using your thumbs in the knuckles down method, but you can braid with your left hand as your lead. You are not to be messed with 🙌🏽.

    Hii.. Watching this is amazing to me. I always felt a little insecure because I only braid knuckles down. And in my opinion the other methode is better. But seeing this shows me that the outcome is the same. And it feels great!!! Thank you❤

      Awww thank you! Knuckles down is my jam lol It's funny because I braid in such a combination. I start off doing method 1 or 2 then once I get to the back of the head I turn my hands to knuckles down. I felt a little insecure about at first myself but then I realized we all have our own ways. 🙂 This is the perfect convo for my fb group. Are you on Fb?

    I started with 1 and 2 and I found myself forgetting to pull the feed every know and then and I had to cut it and the braids were still excellent but now I’m most comfortable with 3. No more forgetting strands!🥰❤️excellent work

    Im 34 today! 11/12! Been doing box and cornrow braiding for 20+ years And i JUST started learning how to braid with extensions about 3 years ago... (Diff clients over time with diff requests) THIS is THE MOST DETAILED, INFORMATIVE, AND HELPFUL VIDEO IVE COME ACROSS YET!!! No other video I've seen compares!! Thank you for the ideas and helpful tips!!! I will most certainly be using my son as a test dummy for ALL 5 methods to see which one best suits me lol

    I love them all, but 5 was my favorite to watch you perform, and I love how the braid had a some what feathered look ( I think that's the word Im looking for). Personally I think I can successfully accomplish 1 through 3 no doubt. Normally I can do underhand when doing large sections like 2 or 4.. Great video, loved the detail, definitely earned a new subbie and like!😁

    Very helpful.Thank you very much. Not sure which one is my favorite until I master at least one of them. I'll be trying them soon and let you know. I always wanted to learn feed in braids and stitch braids. Two things on my bucket list that look easier when watching than when you're actually trying to do it yourself.

    Does it really matter what brand of holding gel is used for the braids? How do you know how many strands to add in the braid, or just do it all the way to the nape ?

      There are many gel products on the market. I prefer shine n jam but you may develop your own preference. I don’t count the pieces of braiding hair to be honest. I just feel and watch the braid to help me determine how many pieces to add.
