bro you're extremely awesome!!!!!!
thanks a lot for the kind help :)
Best tutorial I've seen on this. There are a lot of videos on this subject. But I hadn't found one that laid it all down this simply with the least amount of steps. Two thumbs up!
I really do appreciate the positive feedback! and I am happy to help- :) thanks for watching!
Thanks for the very clear tutorial! Learned a couple new things :) Also just in case you're not aware, you can Alt + click on a a layer's eyeball for a quick way of only seeing that layer, and Alt + click again to bring back all the previous visible layers, just another handy time saver.
This was very helpful and by far exactly what I was looking for and needing help with. Thank you!
This is the very best, most simple explanation as to how to do this. Thank you!
Absolute best tutorial i've found. You explained it as if I was a 5 yr old. Which is about my skill level using Photoshop. Thank you and keep putting up videos. You're great!!
Just starting out and this is by far one of the best videos I have found. Nowhere shows how to do color sep pre-purchase of expensive software. This is want a beginner needs to see!
I think this would be a great help for me once I start my printing business. It's easy to follow and precise in giving the procedure. Will be watching more posts as I go along with my learning process in printing. #subscribed

Very much appreciated thank you
Appreciate the video! Though I do have a couple of question's! Does copying the colours to a new layer require the image to be rasterized? and does that mean the image won't be vector/ re-scaleable when it comes to printing it for exposure?
Thanks for the tip! Little time-saver means are a plus!

Thank you so much! I need to do a three color on a pocket. Can you do a video on that?
thank you for the tutorial, very clear, I do have experience with photoshop but no silk screening, the only part I didn't get was adding stroke to each color, I know you mentioned is related to bleeding, can someone comment a little more? thanks
When printing on a black or dark colored shirt, you need to first lay down your design in white ink as a foundation for the color, otherwise the colored ink (the red and blue in this design) will come out very dark and muddy.
By adding the stroke, it gives that white foundation, but he reduced the edge of the white by 2 pixels so it would eliminate the possibility of the white ink bleeding out from under the red and blue when the shirt was printed.
DementedDistraction did he reduce the white or increase the over color? I do everything through Ai, photoshop is new to me :)
Thanks!!!
He reduced the white, and he did so by such a small margin that the edges of the red and blue wouldn't be darker than the interior sections of those colors.
Good Vid. Thanks.
thank you!
THANK YOU BROTHA MUCH APPRECIATED.👍🦍💪

Thanks for watching a commenting.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH! GOD BLESS YOU!
Hey i appreciate that!
You Welcome!
Thank you this is awesome. One of my week points. What if you want to only print two of the colors. Maybe the white hand and tea bag are the color of the t-shirt.Lets say you want to make sure the red or blue doesn't bleed over. Would you stroke the Red and Blue so the cross over the white and don't leave a gap. Guess I'm really asking if you have lets say a border. Would you put a stroke on one so they choke? Hope I'm asking this right.
ScreenPrintR- Hi. Thank you for watching! So if you want to print just the red and blue- just make the "eye" for that layer visible- and print that layer while the other "eye's for each layer" is hidden. Do this for each layer you want to print to make a screen film positive for that layer. As for the gap- you'll have to just try for yourself. If it is a really tight butt registration you may not want to add a stroke- or yes they may "over lap". Hope this helped!
YOUR VIDEO SAVED MY BUTT!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOSH I WOULD GIVE YOU THE BIGGEST HUG EVER RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!
uncheck contiguous in the top bar when using magic wand-- no more going back and checking similar
Ah! Excellent advice! Thank you so much for this
New to screen printing. This video helped me tremendously.
Question though. How do you use the registration marks. Did a test screen and obviously the registration marks were burnt in and ink flows through. What's the process for using them and not burning them into the screen?
You want them burnt into the screens- helps make sure the design is straight on the pallet- and also need then for lining up/ registration multi color prints. Once your ready to print- just use tape to block ink from coming through
its helping alot sir thx, maybe am blink for to learn this software lul
thank u
thank u senor
Hi I need to make no of combos for my textile design
is there easy techniques in photoshop or illustrator for generation the design combos .

hi! if you print this design once, means all layer will print separately ? thank you.
Great. I'm a newbies here in photo shop. Been printing T-shirt but all my design was done and printed in a computer shop and not on my own thing. I want to paint the multi colored design of Bob marley's one album cover, but i cannot edit the raw photo from google direct to PS just like what you did,, what should I do?
hi sir...i would just like to ask is this also applicable in cs3?
hi i has tested it is done ok but problem is from the print machine i has test to one home made hp f2180 but the film not print good
can me tell wich print can print good the film?
i see more using the epson but are very expensive know if there are a print a4 can make a film ?
and is good use only the waterproof inkjet?
another ask is if i can print nothing use the rip softwore to only this process using only photoshop cs6
thanks and great video process is very sample and i has understand all step by step perfectly
just mistake is for the print i has a find one good for the film transparency
I think if you unchecked "Contiguous" for the magic eraser you could skip hollowing out all the letters. Little time-saver, especially if the graphic is way more complex :P
I don't have any magic wond on my cs6 do you what else would work?
Thanku
Can you help me? I've split a layer in to 3 equal sections using the guide layout option. How do I now fill each designated section with a separate colour without changing the colour of the entire layer. I'm a complete newbie to Photoshop.
Do i need to use stroke on every color if printing on white shirt?
Thank you, very clearly episode..... Please Create a new episode, how to separate color (CMYK) form Multi color JPG picture, i will wait for watch your episode Because your episode is very easy and helpful
Do i need to use stroke in every color?
Are you using Photoshop CC or Elements?
You can Uncheck Continuous box when you select a color with magic wand so you do not need to right click and select similar. Sorry for my poor English.
What if I print it on white shirt ? Do I still get the black color or the white color?
We're glad you liked it and thanks for watching!
Hi, do you print them to films directly? Do you call this file production ready which I can just send to the printer? Thank you!
Thanks for watching a commenting. To print the files just send them to the printer with your transparency films. I would say no this is not production ready- it is for our shop but i suppose most shop would have different methods of creating film positives. This method works in our shop.
I have a design that I'm trying to get from a cup. I separate one color but the other color don't want to pick up, what do I do?
Thank you much. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Trying to output a one color and the image is coming out half tone dots. I'm trying to use a eps file that someone sent me if that matters
Thank you for watching and leaving a comment!
Yes Cs6
Hey thanks for the watching and commenting!
Where I can find the magic eraser tool? I only have eraser
Each layer with the eye showing on the layer panel will print. Turn off layers you do not wish to print to print one color layer at a time.

Your welcome! Thanks for watching.
