We were definitely glad to make it out without too much of a fight. I'm sure you'll be very happy with your trailer, we picked up in February and have had it out every chance we get.
Love the videos! Picking up my MRXL5x9 in a couple of weeks and planning a long road trip to the west next spring. We'll be bringing our Teddy Roosevelt Terrier so the dog-friendly places are a must. Cant wait! Also just got a set of four recovery boards and it looks like I may need them-
It has been forever since I have been here! Now we are a bigger family with a CO Teardrop (Mt. Massive) and a full size truck. Do you think the sand to the trailhead would be problematic - or only past the trailhead area? I know there is no camping at the trailhead, but from what I remember, there are other camping spots that don't require the deep sand. Another option would be a basecamp on the road in - which it looks like you did as well previously.
There are a few camp sites that don't require going past the trailhead (seem to fill fast). The road up to that point is reasonable but still has some deep sand (4x4 is necessary from the first turn off the main dirt road). We have another video that has more narration from October of 2022. This shows a little more of whats available prior to the White Pocket area. If you have anymore clarifying questions feel free to reach out!
I absolutely love white pocket. Beautiful area.
We can not wait to go back!
Wow…glad you made it out of the sand safely. The scenery is gorgeous. We pick up our MRXL next month.

What a beautiful place.. would love to go there but don’t think my Highlander would like the sand! So love watching your pups have fun.

Definitely worth having the boards just in case. You'll love your new trailer! We have enjoyed our more than we could have imagined!
