I wasn't doing console stuff back then, just emulating games on my laptop, but I knew that good audio was kind of a must and since I already had a lot of the equipment for that I was able to have (I think anyway) some of the best audio on the platform for gaming videos at the time. And when I wanted to do some console stuff, I bought this really crummy little thing called an EasyCap that was a composite video to usb thing. It looked pretty much like garbage... but it worked and it looked better than a camcorder. It was also like $20. He could have had good looking/sounding content but it would have required effort. Even back then he was adverse to putting in any work into his channel. He just slapped in a game, hit record, and let the chips fall where they may. And he hasn't changed at all since them. He still does the least amount of work possible and expects the biggest reward possible for it.

I think I tried to watch one of his videos once but it looked and sounded like absolute trash. One hundred percent garbage.
I wasn't doing console stuff back then, just emulating games on my laptop, but I knew that good audio was kind of a must and since I already had a lot of the equipment for that I was able to have (I think anyway) some of the best audio on the platform for gaming videos at the time. And when I wanted to do some console stuff, I bought this really crummy little thing called an EasyCap that was a composite video to usb thing. It looked pretty much like garbage... but it worked and it looked better than a camcorder. It was also like $20.
He could have had good looking/sounding content but it would have required effort. Even back then he was adverse to putting in any work into his channel. He just slapped in a game, hit record, and let the chips fall where they may. And he hasn't changed at all since them. He still does the least amount of work possible and expects the biggest reward possible for it.
