If your still there Steve you need to go a couple of valleys over into Spain. The Valle d Aran. Its a lovely place and amazing riding. Both in the ski resort and with the local trails set up by Aran Bike Park.

What is the restriction limit all these dudes race with? Surely all the bikes from around the world turn up with different limits and a common value must be set for races? Is it variable by country, or agreed in for the entire global series of races? All I can say is 25kph sucks on these ~25kg bikes!

What is the point of this race? All we see are damaged bikes at the finish line, bent rims, deflective brakes, chewed up rear derailleurs, cracked carbon frames. This would be actually more interesting to test the bikes at the end of the race and award points for undamaged parts. The industry might actually benefit from more robust parts being created.

@@edarnold99017 I saw none of this damage, would have to be there in person.
Mt bikes always get destroyed under a top pro, they ride 10 times harder than a normal person and its all free throw away parts. But they have to finish.
