If you would've showed me how to use this in a live trade then I would understand much much better, unless you show how to do this in live trade then a beginner like myself, then this is useless.
Isn't bid to buy and ask to sell? Cause you're saying the opposite
Bids attract aggressive sellers, sellers attract aggressive bidders! It's confusing but the difference is between active and passive bids/ask.
It's both. If you're long a contract and want to sell for $100, you are a passive (limit) seller Asking $100. Without an aggressive (market) buyer who will pay whatever is being Asked, you'd never sell, even if passive buyers are Offering a lower pirce Passive buyers also need a seller who's aggressive if they're to buy at the price they've Bid.
