This footprint chart trading session looks at multiple auction patterns in the gold market on 02 August 2018. Brannigan specifically looks at how to develop actual versus expected outcomes by learning how to read the footprint chart and interactions at key market turning points.
A number of auction patterns are highlighted on the footprint: during this market review: imbalances , aggressive participant interaction, stops being hit, increases in volume and volatility, absorption, two-way trade, a V-reversal, and a setup for a failed continuation.
A main takeaway from this footprint trading analysis is the significance of buyers and sellers interacting with high volume at market turning points. These become important reference points around which positioning is created and unwound when broken through, such as during the NFP example.

I have never seen any educator as good as you are on RUclips! How can I get access to the software to use the footprint? I especially like the price chart with the two graphs below, a volume bar graph and the cumulative delta curve. Can I buy the software without using TT as a broker? I am currently using TD Ameritrade, and Trade Station.

nice vid. does anyone know how he has the color gradient set for the cells in his footprint? I cant tell if its for delta or volume, sometimes its dark red or blue with a high delta imbalance but low volume and other times its dark on a high volume with just a 2x delta imbalance.

At 13:00, when you're talking about the V reversal, what is the added benefit of having the footprint chart? If I saw a high volume red bar followed by a slightly higher volume green bar that closes near the top of the red bar, I would already see that as strong support, and mark it as a relevant price level.
Is each to Monday morning quarterback charts after the fact., doing it in real time and basing decisions off of it is the trick.

HI, i have a question, when i have a lot of contracts in one candle, could i define the bottom and the top as a good key level, to search for a trade entry?
Yes based on where the lots are traded you can define a top and bottom. This is why it is important to not just look at the candle but how the candle created by buyers and sellers

I’m new to this and know literally NOTHING on trading or investing, What would you guys recommend for me getting started. I was thinking about reading books. Is there anyone I cam contact in the comments who wouldn’t mind answering a few questions for me?
Youre on the right track if youre watching this. Experience is the best teacher, but it comes at a price. Taking advantage of the knowledge of other seasoned traders you personally know, or trust is surely the best shortcut and minimizes learning from mistakes. Books, RUclips, are good for learning the fundamentals and technicals. Most brokers also provide educational resources. Experience will teach you the "game" Displine will beat the game. Keep it simple, And for goodness sake.. Never long a penny stock.
What are the best footprint software platforms?
Most traders at our desk use Sierra Charts. But plenty other platforms, Tradovate, Ninja Trader, etc.

Hi, i have a short question. You are telling no one is selling, but the market wents down. Ok it was over night. How could i see, when the market will go up? oder go down. I think i have to watch Volume and Delta, as explained in your video. Why did you have session delta in your chart?

When you use foot print if your trading the 5 min chart do you is a 5 min FP chart as well? Or, would you want a lower time frame FP. What about trading the 4H? What time frame FP would I use for that? Is there standard correlation? Thanks for your videos and your time!
The footprint will represent your time-frame, if you're looking at a 5m time-frame, the footprint will show the buying and selling done withing 5m. Footprints take every tick, every transaction done and register them at x price with x volume. They are very powerful if you know what to look for

most of peopel talk about foot print but when ask how to get it its difficult for them to tell
As interesting as it is seeing "inside" the bar with a footprint chart, I feel it would be more helpful to see how this can useful during a LIVE trade. This video ultimately ended with "This was a support and this is a resistance", which is basically your regular run-of-the-mill technical analysis, so I don't get where the edge of using a footprint charts is.

Majority of them have no idea how to use the footprint, it's only usefull at trigger points and short squeeze or buyers trapped in, it's useless to watch the footprint the way this guy does
@@hhjihhj4649 liquidity means a high number of trades that took place at a specific price, don't look at this guy, he doesn't know how to read footprints

I’ve been trying to learn this for weeks, but still I can’t find any beginner level foot print videos on RUclips because most are paid courses sadly.
And I’m still in school so can’t afford the expensive foot print courses.
