I love everything about the new nx. Interiors wise, there are some small details I would like Lexus to improve on. The screen is great, however there is a big bezel on right side stick out. The dashboard is little plain on passenger side. They should have some stitching, some angle or some design there. It would make the look more upscale
Nice presentation. My 2022 nx 350 awd arrives next week. Obsidian with bright red. Super excited. I went all out all ordered all the new goodies available. Came in around $56,500. Three key enhancements that I might have spoke more to are the 20" wheels (Sweet), they moved the pesky odometer button to a much better place (hard to use in the 2018), and also moved the memory seat buttons. Again, hard to find in the dark on my 2018. Thanks for this terrific tutorial. 😁🎄
One mistake I, saw in the video was with the pecs the 350h, has 239hp, not 302, only the plugin 450h+ comes with 302hp, apart from that, very informative review

Great review mam, I’ve never watched seen any of your videos before and I have to say it was very informative, I feel you covered every aspect of this vehicle, they haven’t arrived in Ireland yet, when they do I’m trading in my Lexus is300h for a hybrid NX as the other engines don’t interest me.
Regular hybrid is my choice. Even with the tax rebate, the plug in is still about $8000 more than regular. If the vehicle is kept 5 years, how much money can you save compare to the regular hybrid? 6 second vs 7.2 doesn't seems to be important for a family use car
@@CarCoachReports after further consideration even the hybrid is a tough sell Because you can get the same mpg on regular gas in the more practical rav4 hybrid limited with the same luxury features, or you can get the Toyota Venza that gets the same mpg as the rav4 but it’s cheaper and more luxurious inside
Love the new NX! I’m still driving my 2010 RX after 11 years and I’m still enjoying it! Would like to keep it another two or three more years and then maybe I’ll look at the new NX. Correction though, Lexus vehicles have four year 50,000 mile warranties, not three-year 36,000 mile warranties. Also I thought all the NX’s are being built in Canada except for the 450 H plus which will be built in Japan
Does the NX 350h require premium or regular fuel? The old NX hybrid did not require it. Also, why get this over the Venza hybrid? Many call the Venza very Lexus-lite...thank you!🚙

You know what irks me? They omit the panoramic roof and Mark Levinson sound system as options from their TOP tier model... the 450h+ F-Sport. I'm just going to wait for the mid or last model year of this generation to correct some of these gripes, God willing.
Solid review, but you keep referring to different engines as "trim levels". Trim level would be F-sport, Luxury, whatever. Regardless, enjoyed the review quite a lot. I am torn between the 350h and the regular 350.
You KNOW I love your thorough reviews! I am car shopping and while I love the Lexus concept (of luxury), I have found them, as you said "uninspired and vanilla" in today's market. I just received the NX brochure and the 2022's have stepped it up. However, I'm disappointed that the passenger seat isn't equally comfortable and that there isn't a massage option. Also that there is no rear seat climate control center. When I think of LUXURY, Lexus comes to mind. But they miss the mark compared to other vehicles and it's sooo disappointing. Lexus are built to last (I have a 20 year old in the garage!) but they're missing the details I love in the Corsair and GV70. Thank you again Lauren!
There are only a hand few compact luxury CUV's that have massaging seats and most of them are not that good, the one in the GV70 comes to mind, it is simply like an air bladder that moves in and out and after a while, it can get uncomfortable, I would rather skip that option if I was buying a GV70

That’s what I was wondering. I think Lexus knows reviewers will not approve of the 250 as a luxury vehicle. It has the same engine as my RAV4 XLE, not fast but a good engine. The 250 is a glorified Rav4. Don’t get me wrong I do like my RAV4 and the great gas mileage but would I pay $12000 more for a nicer interior and Lexus badge, probably not. I believe my RAV4 has more cargo room than the Lexus too. That being said, I do like the styling of the NX.
@@annv4338 yeah the 250 2022 nx is scarce. I just bought 1 . I believe it will be most reliable compared to 350 turbo and 350h . I'm not big on speed . I just wanted a vehicle that's good on gas, reliable, comfortable and inexpensive to maintain. U think the 250 is most practical version . But I guess lexus taught hybrid nx and turbo nx would sell more. I do like fact that 250 takes regular gas .

Im on the waitkist for a 2022 NX, but dealerships are full of 2021s. Although I LOVE the 2022, I know they'll be dropping prices on those 2021s when the 2022s hit the showroom.

Best value best looking hands down right now is the Genesis GV70 2.5t AWD 300hp base no option at $42.5K. Jaw dropping head turning good looks, amazing build quality, many small details on that GV70, best modern NAV too... NX would look boring next to the GV70.
Agree 100% but the Big question is Quality as far as will it last? If I knew it would last 80 to 90% of the Lexus, I would definitely bite. The German's looks and fit N finish look great as well, but that's what you get; looks and performance, and a big hole in your pocket. I demand so much more when I am forking over 50K+ on anything.

It's not gonna be built in the U.S, but in Canada. Interior quality is not amzing., just ok. 350h interior is super noisy. If you need more accurate info, I can drop off my resume.
Would love to test drive more than one model, but local dealers have only one model at best; most have no inventory.
I just purchased the NX-350h, and I love it. It is my third Lexus and second SUV. I feel very safe with this auto and in love with the technology.

The 350h does NOT have 302hp nor does it have a 37 mile electric range. Those features are exclusive to the plug-in 450h+.

Plus, the 350h has no measurable *EV* range and certainly not 37 miles. That range belongs to the 450h+ (plug-in hybrid).

Does the 350 H have significant road noise because of less insulation or run flat tires than a ES model?
It was equally as quiet as the past model year, they offer insulated windows.

Mercedes has the best ride for sure. The NX does offer insulated glass which keeps the interior quiet.

Imo could be better. In general the nx is disappointing vs other brands. But if you’re adamantly sold on the nx, get the nx350h.

That is a way more expensive ride. I own a Porsche Cayenne diesel and absolutely love it! The maxed out NX isn’t even close in price.

The nx was already outdated the second the gv70 came into the picture and essentially ended the nx before anyones even driven it.
