I got one of these only because it's kinda an icon of old school gadgets n stuff, which I'm into, like kit kat clocks & modern retro gear. You'll see these in many movies throughout the 80's & 90's as a kind of curiosity piece, but they've been around alot longer than that. My ones drinking water from a Sea Monkeys tank!
The sea monkeys don't live in an underwater castle & throw beach balls to each other as I was led to believe from the back of an American comic when I was 7. Later, at the tender age of 38, I realised it was false advertising all along.

Next week I'll put up a video of an amazing drinking straw I bought and demonstrate how, by placing your lips over one end of the straw, liquid can be drawn up it simply by placing the other end of the straw into a glass of water. When performed correctly the water will enter your mouth. The shop I bought the straw from also sells amazing drinking birds but you've seen that already. OH HOW WE LAUGHED 😅

I had this exact one from the science museum but as soon as I took it to Qatar (the average temperature was around 30 degrees) it overheated and spazzed out. Then it fell back on the bulb and cracked everywhere. I loved it but don’t take it to a hot country
