After searching thru dozens of these videos, I finally come across yours. You have explained this so simply I am in awe. It actually makes me feel a bit stupid for not having understood it from others. Thank you so much for this! I'm trying to make a mermaid tail for my grand-daughter, and really wanted this stitch...but couldn't manage to grasp the concept until now. Again, I thank you!!! And my grand will, too!!!
I could not find my written-down crochet pattern but this was the easiest explanation. This sitch is wonderful it makes the edges of any project or what ever you are working on so beautiful. I have used it in so many ways in the past. Thank you for sharing this with us,
I have been looking for a clear explanation of this stitch for a very long time! Thank you so much! I just precise that I'm French and I clearly understand what's you've been explaining. Thanks so much🥰
Ohhhhh, i was hoping that if I hopped from video to video enough I would find someone who explained it in a way I could understand and while I’m still not super confident I’m going to do it right, I think this is it!
Thank you for your excellent tutorial on this stitch. The diagram and written instructions for this square #4 on the WEBS CAL Mystery Blanket now make sense.
Thank you for this video! I watched a 30minute video and ended up lost. The way you've explained and demonstrated was so much more simple and clearer! ❤
Hello, good afternoon! I am an amigurumi designer. I just made a Santa Claus and for his beard I used the crocodile stitch. I would like to add in the pattern a link to a video explaining how to make the stitch, so whoever buys the pattern has one more help. I just wanted to ask permission to add your link, where you show the crocodile point in a triangle. It is really very well explained.
I love this method of crocodile. Most patterns call for the obligatory starting chain of 150, adding a row of dc and then starting the crocodile. Your way is much faster. But I don't understand how to make a row of crocodiles if I'm doing a larger piece like a scarf? Can you do it this way, or do you have to start with just the one as you've shown here?
Great video until you stopped at the second row... and I dont know how to start the next row. I really wish you would have continued to at least one more row...
I have one issue with this video. Your crocheting too fast. Slow down in these types of tutorials, so people who are deaf r hearing impaired can see what you're describing. Closed captioning doesn't always work right. Otherwise it was great! I just need to get this for arm warmers since I can't figure out how to do fingers for gloves. Lol
You describe/show this stitch so much clearer than any other video I've seen so far.
On this video saved my life lol. I watched SO many videos and this was by far the clearest. Thank you! ❤

Finally, someone who explains this technique clearly! I was turning my work to the backside before I watched this video. Thank you.
And gets to the point for goodness sake
Thank you so much!!!! Some people know how to do it but don't know how to explain it like you. Thanks again. B.

Great short video to refresh the memory on how to do this stitch!
This is the easiest crocodile to stitch ever thank you so much regards Carol x
How can it be easy when it looks as though the start off is cut out.
I love this. This reminds me a lot of beading. Because you fold bead rows away on certain patterns.
