😮 I’m wondering why I couldn’t do this before!?! So many times I’ve tried and failed. I’ll give you all the credit! Your calm and patient voice has guided me to success! Thank you!
tryed so many, patterns and couldn't figure it out watching you, you took your time and slowly showed on how to do it. Plus you showed how to do it all the way to the end of each row, bouns points plus 5 stars for this video
I agree. it does no good not to say keep doing what you did when You don't remember.. I agree with you Whole Heartedly.. I appreciate the way she teaches. I'mgoing to do this today, i swear it:)
One of my favorite stitches. I am making a hooded pocket shawl with it. I have one made already too. Once you get the hang of it it's very easy. I almost gave up on it when I first learned it, I kept making the shells upside down somehow for some reason. It about drove me crazy, lol.. Tyfs God bless you
I love this stitch and use it from time to time. It is quite a yarn hog! I only use it for pillows and bags since I'm not a fan of how the back looks. This is a complicated stitch while learning but it is so beautiful.
So happy I’m subscribed because I bought a new Etsy pattern today and came across ~Alligator Stitch~ in the pattern and had zero idea what the hell it was 🤣 Then I see this video in my subscription box 🙌🏼
This stich was new to me. It looks really great. And thanks to your wonderful explanation I feel confident enough to give it a try. I really love your tutorials, you have a wonderful way to teach us all those intimidating looking patterns - thank you so much for that!
I tried this stitch when I was a newbie, and the pattern was a tad different and more complicated. Thank you for this one. I absolutely love how you explain things. 🥰
Hello. Just decided to try this again. Tried moths ago (not your video). You made it so clear. I did down size my hook to make it look a bit more like yours. Thank you so much.
I’m about to start making a purse for my granddaughter that turns into a doll cradle. The pattern uses frills or waves but I just saw this and thought how beautiful this would look! I’m gonna give it a try! 💜🧶🙏💜
Hi Sarah I am going to crochet a Christmas tree hat using the crocodile stich but couldn't follow how to do the stich and looked how you did the stich. Within 5 minutes I got how to do it. You are a good teacher😃. Thanks 😊
When you 1st see the Finished pattern it looks like a complicated stitch like a complicated stitch but after reading the instructions and seeing the video you see how truly simple and easy this pattern is but it's so pretty I cannot wait to get started on it thank you again
I am finding this lesson a bit upside down. When i worked other crocs, you go right to left. This seems to be going backwards and i can’t follow. Please help
FYI very hard to see what you're doing, fingers covering up too much of the work to be able to see where & what you're stitching into. It's a beautiful stitch though!
Thankyou , you have made it so easy, I tried so many tutorials and couldn't get it , thanks again .
Third video I’ve watch n rewatched & went to a thicker yarn & yay I got a scale 🎉thank you your very good at showing and teaching ❤

The crocodile stitch always looked complicated to me, now that I've seen you do it I think I'll give it a try in the new year. Thanks.

I agree - it is a yarn hog - but so worth it!
Yes worth every bit. Especially with a gradient yarn.

My sister taught me this years ago, we made handbags, hats and gloves. We used it quite a bit for awhile. Love it!
I’m attempting to make a dragon beanie and this will definitely help me add scales to it!

You’re very welcome! Yes once you get the hang of it, it works up so smoothly!
That's a beautiful stitch but looks very thick.
I made a dice pouch with this stitch. I want to make a cooling mat for when i am canning with this, too.
Love this stitch!
It’s such a fun one!
I think it would make a cute bag.
It does make a fun bag. I made a dice pouch with this stitch and it's the envy of the table when i show up.
I love the look of this stitch. How would you finish the last row edge of this pattern on a project? Thank you for sharing this with us.
Can we use the single crochet stitch too for this pattern or does it have to be a double crochet stitch
Trying to make an amigurumi pangolin, going to see if this works for it's back
