Let me point out a few factors to this video: 1. Well done with your work here. This is one of few videos centered around that didn't feature damage hits compared to others. 2. I do wish the final soundtrack from the final version of the original was utilize for this seeing that it matches with the zones featured better. 3. I feel like this game should've been the final Sonic game for the GENESIS for it has everything that fans & players expected compared to the Saturn version. Not to mention the 2D version provides more of a challenge for players to push their skills to the limit & could've been the ultimate wrap-up for Sonic's legacy on the GENESIS to give fans & followers thanks for playing his games over the years. It even could've been an opportunity to introduce SHADOW in a new light as a hero rather than a villain & to give TAILS a glimpse on what his final battle with Eggman would've been like if he had the chance to access THE DOOMSDAY ZONE in SONIC 3 &KNUCKLES.
You have articulately put exactly what my thoughts are with playing this fangame. I especially love the bridge between the Genesis series and Adventure series. The soundtrack was actually tracks that I selected that were my favorite ones for each Zone (between the Saturn and MD soundtracks). And I always try to show the way it's possible to beat bosses without having to lose all your rings. There's quite a few questionably placed Badniks in places in this game I will say but the game is still great and of good quality. Very pleasantly surprised by it.
Is the 1080p60 graphics not working? Edit: I know what the problem is. It's because higher quality video has to be compressed by RUclips so it does make the footage slow down sometimes when slightly slower Internet speeds occurs. You can always change the quality of the video to suit your needs. If you have good signal and connection, the 1080p quality works well but if not, go 720p.
Hello. Dude, I can't do a tutorial on this and there's an important reason why I can't. RUclips has a strict anti priracy policy and if I show a video of how to show how to do it, I run the risk of having the channel shut down. Other RUclips channels have mentioned problems when doing tutorials in the past for emulated games and I don't want to take the risk. However, if you head to Discord and go to the Retro Engine Modding Server or the REMS, they will tell you how to set up the decomplilation for Sonic Mania. The mod creator (rubber ducky cooly) is even on the server so he can help you as they have helped me. It doesn't work like a standard mod where you just extract the files into a made mod folder and it's ready to play. It means having to go onto GitHub to get the source code for the game. I managed to get it to work with vanilla Mania but Plus is even more of a technical endeavour. I'm sorry I can't help more with this for the moment.
