  • Easy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies are the best of both worlds: peanut butter cookies mixed with chocolate chip cookies! They’re soft and chewy and everyone loves them.
    PRINTABLE RECIPE: www.crazyforcr....
    RECIPE:
    INGREDIENTS
    1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
    1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
    1/4 cup granulated sugar
    2/3 cup packed brown sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 large egg
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
    INSTRUCTIONS
Mix or stir butter with peanut butter until smooth. Add brown sugar and granulated sugar and mix until creamy.
Beat in vanilla, egg, baking soda, and salt. Mix in flour slowly until cookie dough forms. Stir in chocolate chips.
Scoop 2 tablespoon sized cookie dough balls onto cookie sheets covered with parchment paper or silicone baking mats. Chill 30 minutes.
    Preheat oven to 350°F.
Press cookie dough balls flat with the tines of a fork.
Bake cookies for 8-12 minutes, or until slightly brown on the bottom and the top just loses the wet cookie dough look.
Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to one month.

@@Blablabla-qg7db Hi :) Yes, they are! I'm so sorry yours come out cakey.
Umm, I'm not an expert baker by any means, but a tip I picked up from Crazy for Crust is to melt your butter on the stovetop first, then add the sugar to it, and after you have made the batter and made your cookie balls, refrigerate them for at least two hours.
Also, be sure you're not over mixing. I'm pretty sure that will make a difference in your finished product texture.
Just keep playing around, baking is messy and fun, I hope you don't put too much pressure on yourself :)
If anyone needs to add something or correct me, please jump in!

@@Blablabla-qg7db oh! One more thing! When you are measuring your flour, don't just scoop it out of the bag with the measuring cup. Use a spoon to fill the measuring cup and then level it off. I think she has a video or blog post on that somewhere too :)

The BEST thing aside from the deliciousness of these tasty Cookies is the fact you can make them WITHOUT hauling out a Mixer if you like... these days I really like EASE. Melted butter is ingenious! I added a splash of buttermilk at the end probably feeling my dough needed it due to the tablespoon of the Almond Butter I’m addicted to that I added & the Tablespoon of Molasses I’ve been experimenting with in almost EVERYTHING lately or so it seems. I poured over all my favorite Baker’s recipes for Peanut butter Chocolate Chip Cookies I wanted to bake for my Son & his Finace. These are THE BEST COOKIES! They’re going to LOVE them. It’s part of an ongoing Housewarming I’m blessing them with these challenging times 🥰 Can NOT thank you enough. 🙌💕 🍪 🍪 Can’t WAIT to try your other Masterpieces. 🙂

    • @eidygarcia2195

I believe you can use regular white sugar it dosent make a huge difference. You just won't get the same richness then if you used brown sugar.
