Originally gifted as a poem to Steven & April Espaniola by friend Puni Patrick in 2014. Steven arranged it into song format and added the haunting melody. The song compares Steven & April's late son Phoenix Kahanu to the fleeting beauty of the beautiful sakura flower or cherry blossom. The song also features Steven's long time friend Kris Kanoho on lead electric guitar and the single's beautiful cover art was created by Kris' talented son Tyler Kanoho.
