Archer, Micronta, Lafayette meters.. DX-342, two DX-390s, and a DX-392 AM/FM/SW radios from 1992 < Almost everything from RS is still available... On eBay... Tips and heaters for my Weller /RS pencil soldering irons. We still have the Evanston store... Bit there is nothing of use in it... Apple INC says I'm a "TAMPERER"... (Been working with thrift store Macs since 1997...) Leica once said that.... National Camera Repair School showed THEM! I work on my eBay find HTC's for the fun of it.... Using Hanger Queens for parts... NOT as phones!!! As WiFi Pocket Computers! For TuneIn, etc... Like iPod Touches... HTC uses cross point or Torx screws.. Nothing is glued together.. A FM DX proposition for me, 45 miles SW... WBEZ's illegal Vocalo Radio 91.1 bleeds into it... QRM! A FCC Violation! But oh so Politically Correct... So inclusive.... So one needs to listen on TuneIn....
I think I caught that... Might have it on tape. Thank God for Napa Valley cassette racks! We have 6 here, with prerecorded tapes Could use another.. for my recorded LPs. All thrift store finds, as with the tapes. I DID buy Narada Decade at Borders. Only new tape... Expensive. About 1996, I think. Went hunting all the albums in our used record shops... thrift stores... As with the COSMOS LP Ron Ray gave me. ONLY way to do it on SSDI! I loved those Yup's who were going to Cd.. SAD they quit issuing tapes... I guess my rarest tape is: Will Ackerman Balancing MCT-001 1980 50 cents Will told me all about how it came to be. Re-ssue d as It Takes A Year WT-1001 STILL looking for The Turtle that joined The Navy.. An EARTHQUAKE in The Force! I just found the Narada Wilderness Collection to replace a tape missing a roller.... lost on the floor, here.. Tape pull out of it's one spool.. $3.50 for the Cd.. TWICE+ that for a cassette...
