- The number one thing you MUST do when having hernia repair, VSG, or any abdominal surgery post op!!!! Make no mistake....this is not optional!!!
It's so true, they don't prepare patients for anything that requires major painkillers. I think you're courageous to share your experience. Thanks
I wish I would have watched this pre-op instead of post-op. I am a amazed at how the medical field completely blows off the pain you will be going through and how little they do about trying to lessen it for you. I just had my surgery on Wednesday and they said I could go back to work Saturday. I could barely stand let alone work feeling better today (Sunday) after lots of fiber and stool softeners. Thanks for posting this and anyone who sees this please take it seriously ....
Godspeed bro
I know I'm three years too late. My surgeon pushed around before even the surgery date and flat out told me I can go back to work in three weeks after my surgery on light duty. Told her I have to lift 50+ lbs at work if I can't lift 50 lbs at work won't let me work because I'm a liability. She just stood their in silence looking at me before asking.
"What do you do?"
I work in a warehouse. I don't have a desk job or a cashier. I work in the back with the rest of the guys pulling 80 lbs one-handed. It was a position that paid more and I jumped on board because I'm a 5' 10 woman in my work shoes who's husky from having grew up on a farm.
Just blew her mind away that I could do that type of work. Hence forth why I got the hernia.
So she switched up her story to. "We'll see when that time comes."
Called worked giving them the heads up and saying she automatically was going to put me on light duty after three weeks and was flat out told.
"You can't come to work only three weeks after surgery. You'll hurt yourself."
Thank you!
Work gets it but not surgeon. So more than likely I'll be going three weeks without pay because my surgeon may not sign my disability papers to extend my leave from work.
Tip* Paying for short term disability doesn't work if you don't have a good enough doctor that will let you use it when work says you can't work and even the doctor says you can't do all that work.
I'm 12 days postoperative qnd still barely sit for more than 5 minutes at a time
@@Casevillecountryboy that's so phucked up
This advice was much needed.
I had my operation last week. Listen to this man.
Thanks for having the balls to post something so embarrassing. That must've taken great courage. I think I'll make a few videos about my condition, pre-op, and a couple post-op. And sprinkle plenty of before/after shots so others can compare notes. I'm 95% convinced the medical establishment doesn't want you to know all the dirty ins and outs associated with surgery or many customers would be too damn afraid to go through these procedures. I heard the pain factor will be over the top for we patients but I had no idea the very pain meds they administer can could so much added discomfort. Thanks a million, Chris. FYI: This will be my third hernia operation to date. 2 were inguinal and this one is umbilical.
Goofy Bri I agree. They don’t tell us a lot, which is why we need to keep putting out content that might be helpful to others :)
The medical industry has captured regulatory agencies that used to protect US. Now they don't make companies test new mesh before using us as the guinea pigs.
Don’t you dare send your pornographer pictures in this site all Gay men are officially band as of January 21 at 1201 pm no more of this debauchery
Not only that but to ask his girlfriend to give him an enema. He is a better man than me because I have way too much pride to do that. I would have just did it myself.
I watched your video before I had surgery on my groin hernia, without a doubt you are absolutely spot on. It took me 2 days after surgery before I could pass a soft motion and that was after doing everything you’d suggested, so once again Chris many thanks from a grateful 70 year old hear in the U.K 😀🙏
So glad it helped you!
Thanks Chris for the much needed information. I just had an umbilical hernia surgery yesterday. It was a small one in my belly, they inserted one hole. I'm on Norco and stool softener. Its imperative that you take stool softener every day and night. Chris, I wish you all the luck in the world. God bless you brother. 🙏🙏🙏
Today is Day 6 after inguinal hernia repair. I wish I had known about the constipation issues. It was 3 days before I had a bowel movement. I did find out what Paradoxical Diarrhea is. The stool softeners, laxatives and plenty of fluids helped eventually. I wish I started taking them earlier. Sitting in front of the fire waiting for the next storm to pass. It's a dreich night outside. Greetings from Fochabers, Moray Firth, North East Scotland and Happy Burns night for Thursday. 😊
So sorry to hear what you went through, but thank you so much for sharing and trying to save us from the same torture.
My partner had inguinal hernia surgery about two weeks ago in Taiwan. I'm in Australia with the same kind of hernia, and just had a "Pre Pre-surgery Examination." No information like all you folks have shared, so thanks to each of you. I've made a shopping list of stuff to have on hand and will get all the ducks lined up well before!
Soooooo much truth!!!!..... but the surgery alone will make you have problems with going to the bathroom as well!
I had surgery for 3 incisional hernias 12 days ago. It took me 2 trips back 2 the ER and 10 days of pure agony from constipation and pain from the surgery! I wish I would have seen this video ahead of time. Thanks so much. Your a life saver!!!
So nice of you to post this. Thank you so much!
Thanks Chris your advice is golden. I'm in day two of post umbilical hernia surgery. You're right they don't tell you much after you leave the hospital.
good advice and I guess I am so glad one of my friends is a nurse and she picked this up for me after my hernia surgery when we went to go get my pain meds.
hopefully, you're all healed up and all is well. wish me luck. thanks for the video.
Thanks for sharing, I know it’s not easy to try to discuss this topic but you did it for your fellow man or woman, my hat is off to you for trying to help the rest of us. 👍👍. I just had the surgery two days ago and haven’t even had the feeling of going, but I think I’ll take your advice and start on this now before it gets bad. Thanks again brother 👍
Great information it helps a lot, but sorry you went through this, praying for a speedy recovery :)
Thanks for your honesty.
Solid information and shared experiences. Thanks for being honest and forthcoming.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm probably having umbilical hernia surgery soon, and I am so glad I watched this. Definitely putting all those things on a shopping list to get before!
Did you have your surgery?
Start adding Metamucil to your coffee or other drinks two days ahead of your procedure. It will make a huge difference.
Hey , Thanks for sharing. I’m about to have a triple hernia surgery and I was expecting pain but truthfully had not thought about the additional pain from constipation. I made a list of the things you noted and will start on it prior to surgery.
Thanks again for sharing.
I had hernia surgery, and my wife had me on this stuff right away. I had inguinal hernia, so you can't push at all. These same things saved me a lot of ache.
Thank you for the advice. I am going to have to have hernia surgery this year, appreciate the words of warning.
thank you for the video! Been there, done that. Im having surgery this week and will talk to the doctor about making sure I have prescriptions in place to avoid this. If you're stuck in the hospital you have to rely on a nurse to get you the meds you need to remedy this and if they cant track down a doctor for approval you'll wait for HOURS. It really sucks!
Thanks for the info,I’m due for a pre op appointment so my op should be very soon ,so gathering up basic info ,and found yours ,why don’t they give you this information- much appreciated 🙏🏽🇬🇧
Chris Hamilton - Your videos have helped me so much. I had bilateral inguinal hernia repair surgery 10 days ago. Your tips have made my recovery much easier and less painful. Thanks so much.
I'm glad the tips help man.
Thank you chris.. You were spot on about post surgery constipation. I just had my inguinal hernia op on thursday and i was bloated the whole nite, yesterday. Exactly as what you've decribed as the cramps(due to bloating i guessed) was killing me. Had a go with 2 tubes of anemas awhile ago and it was such a freaking relief!! - eric frm malaysia
Thanks for sharing this and being honest about it. I have my surgery very soon and now I will be more prepared.TY
How'd it go?
Thanks for all the great advice, they never said anything about this. I'm going for my second hernia repair next week and I went through awful pain last time. I'm definitely getting some stool softener, and I'm going to take it before surgery. I wish you all well and thank you all for your comments.
Thanks man, gotta get this done soon, been afraid to get it done but this info helps alot.
I feel your pain. Thanks for the info.... I think I'll clean out before the surgery.
Thank you so much man this is my second surgery you write everything you saying brother cuz I'm already going through the experience of that dismantle me going to the store and get the stuff that you talked about God bless your brother take yourself
Great advice. I'm on my second hernia operation, but was told to use milk of mag. ASAP. Did the job. All the best.
I have my surgery in 3 days. You may just be my hero!
I've been in the ER twice now with impacted bowels .. very scary and painful, and now my doctor says I have a possible hernia from chronic constipation and bowel movement straining. I'm just waiting for my general surgeon referal to come in the mail to get the official disgnosis. I'm glad I ran into this video before hand, and will definately bring it up to the surgeon pre-op to get as prepared as I can. Also I've used fleet enemas myself by just sitting on the toilet, administering it, then going immediately to the bed and lying there knee to chest for about 10 minutes. God have mercy on all us hernia and constipation sufferers.
Chris Strobel not fun at all. Good luck man.
Lot of Good Info On here! Thanks Chris Etc!
Great video brother, sounds like fun, your video will help lots of people, constipation us a critical problem and myst ge dealt with before it becomes a problem
Thank you for sharing your story and being so honest! I'm scheduled to have my gallbladder removed and my hernia repaired at the same time on 7/17/18. I'm nervous, but I've been watching different You Tube videos for advice.
How did your surgery go
@@wayneparker6615 Did he die???? crickets
Thank you! I have this problem every time I have surgery. The anesthesia medicine does this to me. And of coarse years go by before I have another surgery and I always forget. I always use the store bought already prepared enema! Thank you for reminding me. I have hernia surgery coming up.
It's so important!!!! Good luck with your surgery.
I’m having surgery this Wednesday and i wasn’t thinking about being constipated, so I’m definitely taking your advise. Thanks 👍
Fredrcg how did it go ?
Just a note. I'm not big on enemas, though I will use them if desperate enough. I personally keep Fleet suppositories in the house at all times. They can be used from the sitting position on the toilet and while not unnoticeable, they aren't as uncomfortable to hold in as an enema. Allowing body temp to melt them 15-30 minutes before going is best. If you are impacted you need the enema, but if "normal" level of constipation, the suppositories soften the stool and lubricate for easy passage without straining. Straining can and does cause hernias. Good luck to all needing the advice here.
This is so true. Magnesium and enema helped me too, after a hernia surgery.
Man I hate that happened to you. Glad you were able to get things moving. Thanks for posting this, so someone else can avoid this problem.
Bro..... never forget this if you take anything from my channel ever! I almost had an impaction....could have been disastrous for these stitches and mesh placement....not good! Thanks for the well wishes man :)
Thank you so much for this !! I just found out I have an umbilical hurnia I haven't gotten the call from the surgeon yet , but I'm so nervous I'm glad to know this in case I have to have the surgery .
Thank you dear brother, may all your days & nights be blessed with healing & wellbeing.
Very timely....God love you.
Thank you Chris. I listened to your advice and got stocked up with supplies before my surgery to remove two Spignalian hernias. And they were certainly needed because you don't want to strain. The suppositories got things moving for me. Your video made my recovery so much easier. Thanks for the advice.
Glad it helped you!
Really appreciate you sharing your painful experience as a warning signs to others. It takes a huge courage to produce video messages like these while you were in midst of your post op healing and suffering from so much pain. I note this was produce a while ago now. I am very curious to know how you are keeping since it has been a long time. I sincerely hope that you have fully recovered and now enjoying the healthy life, but it will be great if you are able to share how you are able get on with life now and how it feels. :)
Best wishes
I’ve had a couple of rough spots as shown in my recent videos and I think I’ll be putting out a hernia update soon. Basically it’s good for now.
Thank you SO much, I have problems with this normally so I will definitely take your advice before my surgery. THANK YOU
kerry Sig it's key to not experiencing pain and problems.
Thankyou for this knowledge. I am so sorry for your suffering and I have decided not to have the op, but continue with long belts with a circle of plastic stuffed down. This I can cope with. Wish you luck for the future.
Get the operation ! A simple operation (now) will turn into a complicated one the longer you put it off---with a longer, more painful recovery guaranteed !!
Gracias! For sharing your experience and advice 👍
Thank you for doing this video! I had hernia surgery a week ago so this video has helped me so much!!!
Great video man. Much appreciate. Looks like I have this op in the near future. I guess one really has to go through all this stuff before the can pass on sound advise. Again thanks a million for this very sound advise.
Marcos Ross exactly. Once one has had these issues, one never wants them again, lol.
+Chris Hamilton Indeed. Thanks again
Good advice man, was a bit late using the laxative ,so i understand what you are saying.
Thanx for ur honesty
Im 3rd day post hernia surgery and I was so excited and relieved today!! 🎉💩🥳 you are speaking the truth!
Yep, that surgery is no joke!
Thanks for sharing! I’m having hernia surgery next week.
Great pre advice
Thanks
With that being said , thanks for sharing your pain and experience....
Great advice! An inguinal hernia can actually be caused just by pushing too hard during a constipation episode.
Bingo! That is exactly what caused my hernia.
Straining on the throne due to constipation can also cause hiatal hernia, a rupture of the normally-closed valve located at the diaphragm where the top of the stomach meets the bottom of the esophagus. Afterwards that valve remains open all the time, allowing undigested stomach contents to roll up toward the throat when you lie back (as in "GERD" aka "acid reflux"). Over night, acidic air has access to the enamel on your teeth. Toothe enanme is irreplaceable. The typical remedy for acid reflux, from the naive establishment medical community, is antacids (e.g. Tums), a whole aisle of which are available at any drug store. So actually, the acid reflux is due to the open valve, not due to excess stomach acid, so neutralizing what little stomach acid you have with an antacid is exactly the wrong thing to do. Instead, supplement with vegan digestive enzymes available at the same drug stores to aid the hydrochloric acid in completing the digestive process and stop eating several hours before going to bed.
I really appreciate this! Scared shitless! Hopefully I’m not shitless though! lol
Thank you for your post. I had my left inguinal hernia repair 7 months ago. I stayed with liquids as much as possible before surgery and after surgery. You are correct in everything. I am glad you didn't have to go to the ER and had a loved one with you at the time. Unfortunately, I had pneumonia three weeks ago with two weeks of bad cough and MAY have forced my mesh to fail. So, under several days of Aleve 250 mg, and cold compress and watching how I am progressing...monitoring pain, swelling as there is a small one..etc. Hope I don't need another surgery.
Douglas Smith unfortunately it's a lifelong risk of tearing for us. Don't let it hamper your life. I still do sports like I always did and if I need another surgery in the future, so be it.
Chris, Thank you, thank you for the pre-op preparation suggestion. I know the pain from two previous hernia repairs. I was just about in tears for hours trying to eliminate my bowel backup. I've got a third and hopefully last repair coming up in two months.
Larry S. Get a head start with the stool softener ;) good luck man
I'm doing three all at once guess this is a bad idea 😭
Thank you for your straight forward approach in talking about this. No pussyfooting about. I’m on day three and feel the pain, to rite aid I go.
Thanks so much for sharing I have an umbilical hernia and I've been putting off surgery as long as I can because I don't want to go through it I haven't had surgery since my 2nd c section in 1988 I wish there were other options besides surgery I don't want to do it I'm truly sorry that you had to go through it and have been in so much pain The Drs should have discussed all of this with you before and after surgery when you are in pain and you first come out of surgery you are kind of disoriented too so they should have made sure they discussed this with your girlfriend too thanks again for sharing your experience with hernia surgery and recovery Prayers Sherry 😢😢
Thanks for your kind thoughts.
Chris Hamilton You are welcome I hope you are doing well and feeling much better and don't have to go through that ever again have a wonderfully blessed day 😄😃
I used Docusol from Rite Aid. I bought the mini enemas before leaving for surgery and ended up needing them, My bowels shut down on the flight to Ft Meyers for surgery and stayed that way until day 2 post op... so 4 days. They work. I did a second one too, before things started moving again.
Reporting back on Desarda Mesh-free Inguinal Hernia repair; It was great, so glad I did my research.
Surgery was local anesthesia, happy to miss general anesthesia. No narcotics after, only Motrin and an analgesic.
It was like the lights ent out and the next thing I knew they asked me to roll off the table into the wheelchair.
Pain level 1-2 except getting in & out of bed was 5-6.
I was normal gate in a month. Had to be careful with stairs because I had bilateral inguinal repair, one direct and one indirect, plus my abdominal wall was discovered to be blown out and he sewed that up too. Desarda method may leave you more vulnerable longer than mesh but there's 0% ongoing/chronic pain. No foreign body sensation and no complications from mesh.
I flew across country to Dr Tomas in Ft Meyers, FL and it was well worth it. Ufirst Health is his clinic and they have a good deal with a Marriot who shuttles patients to & from all 3 appointments. They have a protein smoothie for you when you get back from surgery. The rooms are Accessible rooms so getting in the shower was easy. Sleeping on the couch eliminated the pain of getting in/out of the tall beds.
How soon did you fly after the surgery?
Abdominal surgery is super painful...I’m sorry your mate couldn’t help you...thanks for the tips...
I had a similar experience, and using stool softeners wasn’t cutting it. Then I tried prunes (Sun-Maid California pitted). They worked great. Grab a bag for your recovery, better to be safe then sorry. I think watching what you eat would be wise, as well.
I just recently had a abdominal hernia repair today my recovery seems good so far for the first day but what do you recommend that I buy today to help me use the bathroom
Two week after surgery I am still blooted but less pain. start working again but immediately felt mild pain so stop! just take it easy guy's and plenty of water and fibre😮💨
I wish I found this video a week ago. I'm 7 days post op and feel like I'm dying and about to explode from the gas. I'm on miralax, stool softeners, now taking prescription meds, and my amitiza for IBS (already suffer from this issue), and I'm still having problems. I'm loading up on enemas tomorrow in hopes I have much much relief. Thanks for the video.
Angela Boyd they really work wonders.
Thanks for honesty. I’m headed towards hernia surgery in a month,. Flaxseed works great!
Thanks for the info. Gonna have surgery soon, and is very good info. I am ready thanks to you !!! :)
Thank you so much
Gax X gel caps are very helpful too.
Great video! Just had a double hernia repair ALONG with a prostatectomy 1 week ago! PUSHING Your poop out is not your friend! It was 3 days before I got to crapping and I was forcing/pushing it out....lots of belly pain.. Try getting off those pain pills (they cause constipation) and keep those stool softeners going
I am recovering from open umbilical surgery, so what I did was I started fasting two days before the surgery and two days after the surgery, than all I had to eat after fasting was some beef stock and small portion of full fat no sugar yogurt & some blueberries today I ate a ribeye steak for lunch,no troubles going to the bathroom as a keto/carnivore, lost 80lbs and have keep it off over a year now, no more diabetic drugs and I have not felt this good in decades
Whole Foods always makes a big difference.
i am in the exact pain right now … and never laughed so much i know it’s not funny glad you feel better
Your tips have been helpful 3 days it took me to go to toilet the pain was unreal and that was with stool softners fond lots of fresh orange helped as well .A week on now seem to be going toilet ok now .All I can say take your time will your recovery and don't rush things I walked around 500 metres after 6 days felt ok but after suffered so much pain ☺take care all
Thank you for sharing this imfo, so true.
Thanks for the big heads up. My surgery will happen the 28th of this month.
I will do as you say.
I don't know why the Dr don't tell you! Glad you're doing better!
Thank you for this...
Thank you so much for this info! I’ll be having hernia surgery this fall and I want to be prepared. I never thought about the constipation aspect. I’m vegan and eat plenty of fiber, but I will definitely pick up a stool softener just in case. Better safe than sorry.
Thank you. I am doing it this weekend. Terrifying.
Thanks you helped me sooo much
A tip from a life-long IBS sufferer. If you have ANY GI related procedure, you’re safest and easiest method of regaining proper function of your intestines is a gentle, liquid diet leading into system tolerable foods until you’re back to “normal.” If on pain meds, avoid cheese or other constipation inducing foods. Take 1 regular dose of Miralax in proportion to the amount of food intake. Drink LOTS of water & Gatorade as the excess fluids helps the Miralax work to “flush” your system in a more gentle way. Hope you’re better soon.
Yeah I agree with this. I recently had a hospital stay from a heart attack and miralax and prune juice was the Rx.
Thanks for the info!! I have ventral just above umbilical hernia. My first surgeon doc said it wasn't big enough to do surgery but getting second opinion because it's only thing that's been bothering me. I can understand your pain because not going just kills n feels like broken bricks rolling around but cramp up so hard. Can't believe the doctor never said anything to you about constipated after surgery but then again yes I can. I also have chronic CVI from yrs old dvt in one leg an over use of the other blowing saphenous valve wide open. Prayers for good healing
Thanks bro.
Well I seen my Hernia doc. My pain I'm getting he said sounds like colon issues and get a colonoscopy done asap. He can fix the small umbilical but that won't fix the underlying cause.
I also wished I would have watched this prior to my surgery. I had the same exact situation happen to me and it was some of the worst pain I have ever encountered. The magnesium citrate drink saved me a trip to the ER. Overall the surgery went very well but I could have prepped with your recommendations to save myself a day of agony.
Thank you for this Im goin in for abdominal surgery for my hernia the 25th of April 2024. In a 11 days I definitely will start this a few days before surgery. Again thank you 🙏
CK
Good luck!
I am 5 days post hernia surgery, thankgod the pharmacist gave me the advice to take stool softeners on release. Went to the chemist and bought some. Finally had a bowel movement this morning but was passing gas for last three days. Best advice you will get, the pain medication will constipate you otherwise.
People don't realize how bad this is until they are in it.
I just had surgery yesterday so I'm glad I'm watching this brother I'm going take some Malcolm magnesium or some kind of still softener
Great helpful info! Thanks for sharing. I'm having my first ever surgery and it's a hernia on my abdomen. I've had IBS for years and about 2 years ago my Dr. put me on Linzess and that stuff works wonders! I'm very scared to have this surgery but know it's necessary.
You’ll do fine! Trust the doctors with it and be gentle with yourself.
Great info thanks for sharing...hope your in better health now.
Thanks man, doing much better today :)
Chris Hamilton good to hear..
Thank you for making this video. My doctor didn't tell me this.
46 year old female, had an incision repair for an inguinal hernia 5 days ago. Very little pain post surgery, slightly tender and very swollen but for anyone worrying too much, I’ve barely had any pain and paracetamol and ibuprofen for a couple of days post surgery held aching at bay. The only annoyance I can feel a pulling but think that’s more to do with swelling. As a comparison to it feeling like this poor chap was going to have a baby, I have delivered an 8 pounder on my bathroom floor with no pain relief and honestly they’re very different feelings 😂. Hope anyone worrying about relentless pain is assured that this isn’t always the case.
I feel like yours is not a typical case, based on years of interactions from viewers. I’m glad that it went fairly easy for you but I think most of us have minor problems.
I am dreading my surgery it's on the 8 th September . It's an umbilical hernia. Really hope my recovery isn't too painful. I will struggle with not exercising . Did you manage to go for walks and how long is it before I can exercise? I have read and heard so many conflicting things.
Also just sent my husband off to get some stool softeners!!!
@@AS-ur5gl a couple of weeks should be enough.
@@chrishamilton3740 thanks it's been 7 days now and I (like Michelle) haven't had much pain. Started walking day after surgery and now doing light biking . It's a bit swollen and sore but nothing too painful. Stopped taking painkillers by day 2 as they messed up my stomach.
thank you god bless you my brother
Sharing intensly personal (but vital) info like this is priceless. Subbed.
I just packed Magnesium Citrate to go with my Psyllium Husk and Clorella.
Getting mesh-free Desard hernia repair in Florida 9-25-19. Nervous!
Do as much prep beforehand and you should be fine bro. Good luck.
billytheweasel How'd the repair go? I'm going there soon
@@Grottosays It went well. Getting in & out of bed hurt, pain level 5. But I had bilateral inguinal hernias, one direct and one indirect. My abdomen was torn so he stitched that up too.
The healing time predicted was right on, I didn't beat the initial healing timeline but now 42 days out I can climb ladders at times for work. Incision healed w/o infection. I held both sides, sutures and superficial inguinal opening areas when I coughed or sneezed - with hands not pillow.
I took longer to poop that estimated but bought mini enemas at Riteaid, Docusol I think. It kickstarted things and glad I took another guys advice there.
Dr Tomas is a skilled machine, I think. I was at ease going in, surprisingly. I was put to sleep under local anesthesia. I felt nothing. The pain level was a 1-2 except for laying down.
For pain they provided Motrin and an analgesic, gabapentin - no narcotics gratefully!
I have had sensation feelings "pain" that changed as healing progressed. Now internal on right side. Sutured on incision dissolved from what I see. Internal sutures will dissolve by 7 months. Then I'll lift for hypertrophy again.
Just had inguinal hernia op two days ago and I’m going through the exact same torture. I’m taking a stool softener which thank God helped. It’s slow but it works, can’t push as I normally would and has build up is a bitch. Thanks bro I feel ya!
I did to my guy And I will invest in that even tho I’ve been Passing gas Do you think I still should use it
And I haven’t eaten anything but Chicken broth
Darrion Orr I think a liquid based diet and stool softener is a sensible idea.
Chris Hamilton I’m cool now soup really helped me out I didn’t seek any thing
thanks. Man U are brave
About to have surgery in 2 weeks thanks for the advice
Helpful video
Brother you are speaking the truth! I just had my umbelical hernia surgery a few days ago. Doc said to take it easy on the pain killers due to constipation. Boy was he right! Stayed plugged up about 2 1/2 days after surgery! I drank a large glass of welches 100% grape juice. A few hrs later, I was able to go. The grape juice seems to work as a laxative for me...
I've actually heard that from quite a few different folks!
