Assuming full Bennet ult uptime, hell even 75% ult use, is very bold considering how much Kinich moves in and out of Bennet’s own circle. In AOE scenarios that will be felt even more. Also if the enemy he’s attached to moves they’ll displace you out of Bennet’s ult. Kinich synergy with Bennet in practicality is quite literally low.
Bennett's buff lingers for 3s when you leave the circle so he doesn't need to stay in it the whole time, can weave in and out. Still will be interesting to see how he fares against more mobile enemies.

I disagree. Yes, Kinich and Emilie will work great together, but they are both strong enough independently that they can work on teams without the other. I feel that making a burning team with just Kinich or just Emilie will be viable (and may become more so when more Natlan characters come out).
My predictions for Natlan is that newer units will be a poor match for Bennett circle impact and that's how they plan to promote the Pyro Archon - Bennett but no circle impact and better buffing.

A mechanic people be overlooking is that his burst extends his Nightsoul Blessing duration by 2s when used during it. Even though the burst also takes 2s to activate, this is still useful since Kinich gains Nightsoul points passively. Fire a cannon, burst, and once the animation finishes he should be able to immediately fire another cannon (or at least be very near full charge for Burgeon/BurnVape teams). This will help get 4 cannons every rotation, with maybe even a 5th being possible.

Zhongli and Wrio doesn't seem to be coming out this 5.0 if the leaks are true, so my chances of pulling for this guy is getting higher and higher from the looks of it.
A 5-Star Claymore On-Field DPS with backloaded damage, where have I seen this one before? He looks very fun and I would really like to play him, but I already got enough BennXL teams and dont have the funds for Emilie. I put him on the rerun list behind Chiori.
Might I suggest a furina nahida and c6 bennet team. First of i chose nahida for a deepwood user, as well as em buffer for kinich. The em might not look as good here since it's just burning, but then u have c6 bennet which means kinich can use pyro NAs to trigger burgeons created by blooms rrom furina from time to time. Also for that entra dendro particles that nahids produces. Also i suggest nahida on prototype amber for the faster fanfare stack generation. And also i might add furina can vape on the burning reaction as well as getting a little bit of em from dendro resonance so she will vape considerable qmounts of damage. And since furina will also buff nahida, nahida's damage wont be that small in comparison to not having furina.
That team probably won't function well, you have no consistent Pyro application. Would be good to swap Nahida to Xiangling/Thoma/Dehya. Also, Nahida in general isn't great for Kinich. Low personal damage without Quicken, high Dendro application isn't needed, and the burst EM buff is mostly wasted on Kinich. Emilie and Baizhu are pretty much always better as the 2nd Dendro option imo.
From what we can predict and what we know right now, I'd say Kinich's best teams will end up being: Kinich, Emelie, Mavuika, (Flex). I imagine Emelie and Mavuika will actually form the new burning core. That's one of the reason's that I'm pulling Emelie nmw! She will be fundamental to all burning teams moving forward. The walking stick craft-able already gave me some insight that burning teams will have advantages moving forward before Emelie's leaks were evn released and after seeing Kinich's kit, I'm convinced: Emelie is a must pull. I'm also looking forward to C/Xitlali's release. She seems like a Cryo support character (leaks say she's a 4*) and in Natlan, I expect that to mean she's a Melt support unit. I always pull for archetype defining units (Nilou, Chevruse, Shenhe, Faruzan, Emelie, Archons, etc.)
Now that I have a better understanding on how Kinich works, I think he will be a great addition to the game. I think him being mostly single target is mostly a way to keep him balanced compared to Alhaitham who is more AOE orientated. I don't think Kinich will work that great in Burgeon. Burning is probably going to be the better route for him to take I feel.
Emilie being unironically high dmg and Mualani rivaling Neuvillette's ceiling at C0 and now Kinich being unironcially a good dendro dps (and making a niche for burgeon and burning) genuinely makes me excited for the dps output for new characters.
meuvilette dmg ceiling at c0 isnt even special, his saving point is his long range, aoe, and the way his dmg contribution works, and mualani aint got those at all

I’m really happy 5.0 characters look exciting compared to 4.0 characters. Lyney/Lynette/Freminet were far more mid and uninteresting. Lyney was the only one strong, but his playstyle is definitely not to everyone’s taste.
TGS, i think its important to mention that Kinich isnt getting his A4 passive in his current teams. When he gets more Natlan teammates, he has a very big chance to get alot more better (he is missing 640% for his canon multipler rn 😔)
All Natlan characters can trigger Nightsoul Burst by themsleves. Having more Natlan characters just reduces the cooldown (and makes it more likely to trigger right off cooldown, but I digress).

I wonder if Pyro Himeko wouldnt be attack buffer like Beny cos it will fit perfectly in the new charatcters. also Neuvi and new hydro girl scale so well that attack charters need a buff
Although Bennet would have been nice, unless he snapshots during his entire skill duration (which I doubt), I find it very unlikely that Bennet will be good in practice. Unless you're fighting Simon or Perpetual Mechanical Array (or some other such boss that stays completely immobile), Bennet just seems impossible to use in practice against mobs and other bosses since his grapple rotation relies on the enemies position - staying in bennet's circle is going to be basically impossible. I do like Xiangling since you can proc her burst even faster by spinning opposite to the Pyronado, but with her high burst cost and Kinich already using most of the on-field time, it can be hard to justify her inclusion. Furina would work, but not with the comp you suggested - you would likely want her with Baizu, practically speaking. I'm assuming Kinich's kit was made with future pyro characters in mind - namely Mavuika. Right now though, I think I'm leaning toward Burgeon - probably Kinich/Thoma/Emilie/Kokomi or Kinich/Thoma/Furina/Baizu (both comps could even have their hydro units replaced with Xinqiu/Yelan). Those comps, particularly the first one, allow Kinich to not hog typically high value units like Bennet/Xiangling, work in more circumstances, are more comfortable, and are honestly the most practical to use, imo. Kinich looks like great fun. Natlan kits looking good so far.
I feel like these next patches are setting up a new burn meta of Kinich, Mavuika, Bennett, Emilie and a forward Vape meta featuring Mualani & Mavuika w teammates.
Without Emilie, Dendro and Pyro units shouldn't be mixed. Just today, my Al Haitham and Nahida died a dozen times from the Babel(the Pyro Eremite thicc lady) in abyss 12-1 today.
@@RKNancy Brother, it's a must for kinich u cant not use pyro. It's like using tignari without electro. Kinich is not melee so he will not get burned like alhaitham xd. You can use it with thoma tho, needs a lot of HP.
His elemental ICD is out, so we know them (for now)! E shots is 2s ICD E bomb has independent ICD (practically always applies Dendro) Burst has standard ICD

I loved the idea of pulling for Kinich, i dont really wanna go for Mowani since i have a hyperinvested Neuv and i like variety in terms of teams and stuff, but then i realized that Kinich really likes Bennett buff and that he will be spinning around. Time to pull Mowani i guess :D
Burning is my favorite reaction, and once more my dedication to Venti shines because I'm skipping Kinich in favor of continuing to save for Venti's C6... hhhh Emilie, Furina, AND Kinich reruns are probably gonna be close together, pray for my sanity with the amount of primo grinding I'll have to suffer through

Kinich is burn specific, and while his personal damage is higher, I fear his team damage may not be as high in comparison to Alhaitham Quicken, especially in AOE Same for Mualani. Single target damage will be higher than Neuvi most likely, but Neuvi is better in AOE and he seems to be way more flexible as well tbh
DEHYA!!! I am SO excited for burning Meta, it will finally give Dehya a team where she shines. She's a perfect tenacity holder, doesn't need ER whatsoever, and who knows.. since her pyro application is slow enough, you might be able to build full EM on her a squeeze free DMG. Put her on R5 sac great sword, and you'll have all the repositioning and uptime you need. Dehya mains, rejoice.

I think i want to pull for Emilie and Mavuika, those 2 in a team are a cheff kiss. Maybe Xianyun, and for main dps, im really interested on Wriothesley and Capitano.

I'm planning 2 teams for him Kinich-Bennett-C2Kazuha-Furina I kinda feel this will be a strong team 🥺 Mixed Burgeon/Vape then huge personal damage for Kinich Then for 2nd team-- Xiangling in place of Furina. C2 Kazuha will greatly buff Pyro and boost burning damage at the same time. Kinda excited lol
Kinich should be a single enemy dps. A shame his 'link' is not designed like Dori's link which can damage enemies if the 'link' comes in contact with enemies. So now he seems quite not so good to use against multiple enemies.
I don't think that mualani is going to be that of a character she's apparently strong during the theory crafting but her clunky rotation and single target will show the real performance

Would also love to know how kinich plays in multitarget/ many mobs + with mobs that can dash away far. or even phase in and out of the map. How does his grappling hook work/ limitations. Can it be cancelled/ refreshed/ any cooldown or can we choose a new target for it? I guess my biggest worry is the multitarget play. Already kinda suffering a bit with Wrio, cope with putting Kazuha with him + positioning b4 burst. Thanks!
im more worried on his AoE capabilities, if his grapping hook spinning aound the enemy attack works like Setho's fully charred projectiles then it would be good, otherwise it seems like he's extremley single target oriented, which means Haitham will probs just be better so i'll skip
i'm guessing his best burgeon team could be Either him+Thoma+XQ/Yelan+Bennett or Him+Thoma+TTDS Baizhu+Furina i could probably try around with Kinich National due to XLs Ridiculously fast pyro app. other considerations i could mention here TTDS Kokomi is interesting but since Kinich moves alot, so it can be hard to keep still. Nahida is interesting as she helps with easier ER reqs but her em buff are pretty much useless for kinich. C2 nahida can be helpful though but... Healer less burgeon teams are very high risk
I feel like Hoyo is releasing characters that are at least good when played as solo built character in the team, this is especially good for imaginarium theatre.
emilie should have been a 4 star on his banner. the fact his future best team consists of 4 limited 5 stars is insane and expensive. kinich-emilie-mavuika-xilonen.
Take what i say with a grain of salt but sig r1 should be around 30% dps increase over f2p Natlan claymore (source jstern25 calcs). Also Emilie is probably better, at least in single target, situation in which Kinich shines.

He looks very fun and I would really like to play him, but I already got enough BennXL teams and dont have the funds for Emilie.

Yea Natlan might flop because Hoyo is having a hard time outdoing Fontaine without powercreeping and pissing off CN players who invested in Fontaine
Might I suggest a furina nahida and c6 bennet team. First of i chose nahida for a deepwood user, as well as em buffer for kinich. The em might not look as good here since it's just burning, but then u have c6 bennet which means kinich can use pyro NAs to trigger burgeons created by blooms rrom furina from time to time. Also for that entra dendro particles that nahids produces. Also i suggest nahida on prototype amber for the faster fanfare stack generation. And also i might add furina can vape on the burning reaction as well as getting a little bit of em from dendro resonance so she will vape considerable qmounts of damage. And since furina will also buff nahida, nahida's damage wont be that small in comparison to not having furina.
That team probably won't function well, you have no consistent Pyro application. Would be good to swap Nahida to Xiangling/Thoma/Dehya. Also, Nahida in general isn't great for Kinich. Low personal damage without Quicken, high Dendro application isn't needed, and the burst EM buff is mostly wasted on Kinich. Emilie and Baizhu are pretty much always better as the 2nd Dendro option imo.

From what we can predict and what we know right now, I'd say Kinich's best teams will end up being: Kinich, Emelie, Mavuika, (Flex). I imagine Emelie and Mavuika will actually form the new burning core. That's one of the reason's that I'm pulling Emelie nmw! She will be fundamental to all burning teams moving forward. The walking stick craft-able already gave me some insight that burning teams will have advantages moving forward before Emelie's leaks were evn released and after seeing Kinich's kit, I'm convinced: Emelie is a must pull. I'm also looking forward to C/Xitlali's release. She seems like a Cryo support character (leaks say she's a 4*) and in Natlan, I expect that to mean she's a Melt support unit. I always pull for archetype defining units (Nilou, Chevruse, Shenhe, Faruzan, Emelie, Archons, etc.)
Now that I have a better understanding on how Kinich works, I think he will be a great addition to the game. I think him being mostly single target is mostly a way to keep him balanced compared to Alhaitham who is more AOE orientated.
I don't think Kinich will work that great in Burgeon. Burning is probably going to be the better route for him to take I feel.
Emilie being unironically high dmg and Mualani rivaling Neuvillette's ceiling at C0 and now Kinich being unironcially a good dendro dps (and making a niche for burgeon and burning) genuinely makes me excited for the dps output for new characters.
meuvilette dmg ceiling at c0 isnt even special, his saving point is his long range, aoe, and the way his dmg contribution works, and mualani aint got those at all

Yep + he lacks interruption resistance meaning you'll easily run out of benny circle and you'll be easily staggered and lose dps

Lyney/Lynette/Freminet were far more mid and uninteresting. Lyney was the only one strong, but his playstyle is definitely not to everyone’s taste.

TGS, i think its important to mention that Kinich isnt getting his A4 passive in his current teams. When he gets more Natlan teammates, he has a very big chance to get alot more better (he is missing 640% for his canon multipler rn 😔)

All Natlan characters can trigger Nightsoul Burst by themsleves. Having more Natlan characters just reduces the cooldown (and makes it more likely to trigger right off cooldown, but I digress).
@@lonely_dolphin8923 he dosnt right ? Cuz his kit dosnt state anywhere that he triggers a nightsould burst. Only that he enters nighsoul blessing mode. Also, even if he did trigger the nightsoul burst, isnt that only 1 proc of his passive ? He has a cap of 2 which means he can go even higher.
I wonder if Pyro Himeko wouldnt be attack buffer like Beny cos it will fit perfectly in the new charatcters. also Neuvi and new hydro girl scale so well that attack charters need a buff

Although Bennet would have been nice, unless he snapshots during his entire skill duration (which I doubt), I find it very unlikely that Bennet will be good in practice. Unless you're fighting Simon or Perpetual Mechanical Array (or some other such boss that stays completely immobile), Bennet just seems impossible to use in practice against mobs and other bosses since his grapple rotation relies on the enemies position - staying in bennet's circle is going to be basically impossible. I do like Xiangling since you can proc her burst even faster by spinning opposite to the Pyronado, but with her high burst cost and Kinich already using most of the on-field time, it can be hard to justify her inclusion. Furina would work, but not with the comp you suggested - you would likely want her with Baizu, practically speaking.
I'm assuming Kinich's kit was made with future pyro characters in mind - namely Mavuika. Right now though, I think I'm leaning toward Burgeon - probably Kinich/Thoma/Emilie/Kokomi or Kinich/Thoma/Furina/Baizu (both comps could even have their hydro units replaced with Xinqiu/Yelan). Those comps, particularly the first one, allow Kinich to not hog typically high value units like Bennet/Xiangling, work in more circumstances, are more comfortable, and are honestly the most practical to use, imo.
Kinich looks like great fun. Natlan kits looking good so far.
I hope he works in Burgeon team since my Al haitham can't work in that team very well.

I don't think Kinich would work that well with Bennett since it looks like his skill circle range is too big for him to stay on the Bennett circle
Without Emilie, Dendro and Pyro units shouldn't be mixed. Just today, my Al Haitham and Nahida died a dozen times from the Babel(the Pyro Eremite thicc lady) in abyss 12-1 today.
Bennett burst has a lingering effect of 2s so even if he leaves it for a split second he will still keep the buffs
@@RKNancy Brother, it's a must for kinich u cant not use pyro. It's like using tignari without electro. Kinich is not melee so he will not get burned like alhaitham xd. You can use it with thoma tho, needs a lot of HP.
Great analysis but what about its BIS 5* weapon? Mualani analysis showed her performance with both and without her BiS weapon
What about Kazuha burgeon teams? Kinich XQ Bennett Kazuha. Does Kinich have enough dendro application for this?
What I like about Kinich is that he attacks fast for a claymore user. Although it is by using his skill, still a good change for claymore users.
His elemental ICD is out, so we know them (for now)!

I loved the idea of pulling for Kinich, i dont really wanna go for Mowani since i have a hyperinvested Neuv and i like variety in terms of teams and stuff, but then i realized that Kinich really likes Bennett buff and that he will be spinning around. Time to pull Mowani i guess :D

Burning is my favorite reaction, and once more my dedication to Venti shines because I'm skipping Kinich in favor of continuing to save for Venti's C6... hhhh Emilie, Furina, AND Kinich reruns are probably gonna be close together, pray for my sanity with the amount of primo grinding I'll have to suffer through
Two out of the top three dps getting powercrept by the first two characters in the new region is insane.
This wouldn't have happened if we were still living in a world where WuWa didn't exist. I bet they must be feeling the pain of losing a portion of their playerbase so heavily. Honestly, WuWa feels better as you keep playing. Genshin feels tiring to play, even with the encounter points system.

Kinich is burn specific, and while his personal damage is higher, I fear his team damage may not be as high in comparison to Alhaitham Quicken, especially in AOE
Same for Mualani. Single target damage will be higher than Neuvi most likely, but Neuvi is better in AOE and he seems to be way more flexible as well tbh

DEHYA!!! I am SO excited for burning Meta, it will finally give Dehya a team where she shines. She's a perfect tenacity holder, doesn't need ER whatsoever, and who knows.. since her pyro application is slow enough, you might be able to build full EM on her a squeeze free DMG.
Put her on R5 sac great sword, and you'll have all the repositioning and uptime you need.

Could you calc for a Kinich, Furina, Thoma, TTDS Baizhu burgeon team? It looks like Kinich might swing outside of Bennett's burst a lot with his mobility, similar to Clorinde, so I was wondering what other sustain options look like for his Furina teams.

his cannon multiplier is basically kirara burst but slightly higger mult.
Kinich should be a single enemy dps. A shame his 'link' is not designed like Dori's link which can damage enemies if the 'link' comes in contact with enemies. So now he seems quite not so good to use against multiple enemies.
I don't think that mualani is going to be that of a character she's apparently strong during the theory crafting but her clunky rotation and single target will show the real performance

Would also love to know how kinich plays in multitarget/ many mobs + with mobs that can dash away far. or even phase in and out of the map. How does his grappling hook work/ limitations. Can it be cancelled/ refreshed/ any cooldown or can we choose a new target for it? I guess my biggest worry is the multitarget play. Already kinda suffering a bit with Wrio, cope with putting Kazuha with him + positioning b4 burst. Thanks!
im more worried on his AoE capabilities, if his grapping hook spinning aound the enemy attack works like Setho's fully charred projectiles then it would be good, otherwise it seems like he's extremley single target oriented, which means Haitham will probs just be better so i'll skip
sucks that his infused normals are considered skill damage. he'd be great with thoma burgeon if they were considered normal attack damage
i'm guessing his best burgeon team could be Either him+Thoma+XQ/Yelan+Bennett or Him+Thoma+TTDS Baizhu+Furina
i could probably try around with Kinich National due to XLs Ridiculously fast pyro app.

TTDS Kokomi is interesting but since Kinich moves alot, so it can be hard to keep still.
Nahida is interesting as she helps with easier ER reqs but her em buff are pretty much useless for kinich. C2 nahida can be helpful though but... Healer less burgeon teams are very high risk

Take what i say with a grain of salt but sig r1 should be around 30% dps increase over f2p Natlan claymore (source jstern25 calcs). Also Emilie is probably better, at least in single target, situation in which Kinich shines.
