There also wasn't the mention of Sporus in this video.
He was a 13 year old boy who resembled Nero's late wife Poppaea, whom which he kicked to death. He took the young boy off the streets and castrated him because of the resemblance and then made him his wife. Where he then made him wear her clothes and called Him by "Poppaea". Unfortunately Sporus still had worse to come and was passed from ruler to ruler after Nero's death. The last wanted to make a example out of the young boy and have him SA'd in the theater as entertainment. Sporus committed suicide to avoid this.

Yes this was Rome was known for being against christians and thats why I have seen picture where christians were put in middle of Gladiator arena to just get eaten by lions and I think this was in the 60s, when Nero was the Roman ruler, so I dont know why Nero hated christians this much, when christians are just peaceful people who practice their own religion.

I wouldn't take Tacitus's account as a gospel since Tacitus really didn't like Nero, credibility of Tacitus's account is questioned by modern historians.

actually, "qualis artifex pero" can be translated in two ways but it's mostly done in the wrong way. Artifex can also be translated as a craftsman. So actually the real translation is "What a craftsman I am in my dying". He suggests that he's dying like a civilian and not a emperor, at that moment he realises how low he has fallen.

The whole " fiddled while Rome burned" is just a metaphor. It's just a way to Express that his was far more interested in art and music than political problems.
Yeah, except for the fact that he rushed to Rome and provided relief for the affected citizens, paying a lot out of his own pockets and even letting homeless people live at his own palaces and making sure his people didn't starve. Seems like he had his heart in the right place, as far as his own people were concerned.

Interestingly, this was something that Senators actually liked about him. While Tiberius and Caligula had strong armed the senate to relinquish whatever power and authority they had, Nero was happy to let the Senate take some power back....because it meant he could devote his time to enjoy his position as an emperor.

Emperor Nero most likely didn't start the fire in Rome, he even did a lot to help the people who were harmed for it, out of his own pocket. The reason why he is remembered so poorly today is mostly because of his financial mismanagement and the persecution of Christianity, which happens to be a world religion today. As for his mother, she was a murderer herself, having killed quite a few people to get Nero to the throne as her puppet.
