Mysaria has done absolutely nothing wrong in these episodes and I honestly don’t get the hate for her. I think people are upset because of the changes from the book, in particular how they make no sense at the moment. There is no reason for Rhaenya to set free someone who has previously helped the hightowers. Then to top it off there's the awful coincidence of her seeing Arryk and Erryk mere minutes apart.

Fwiw, when a lord takes possession of Harrenhal they don’t just get a dilapidated castle, they also get all of the incomes from the vassals of the land. So it’s a big wealth addition to become lord of Harrenhal, and it’s not like you have to live there yourself. Just put a castellan in charge and collect the coin.
They couldn't let Alicent act as regent because they're fighting for the fact that they think Rhaenyra, a woman, cannot be queen. I think Mysaria actually respects Rhaenyra and that's why she's willing to help her. Rhaenyra is a lot of things but she has the power to advance Mysaria in her inner circle. I'm with y'all, Aemond is so much fun to hate. He's an entertaining and proper villain!

I am hearing a lot of reactors say they need Daemon to move on from Harrenhall because those scenes are dragging. Folks also said that about the Theon scenes back in the GOT series. These scenes are revealing a lot about Daemoms shame and inner fears, desires. I think - like with Theon- it will make the possible redemption arc more of a payoff in the end. It was pretty emotionally triggering when Theon turned his fear flight instinct off and stood for his sister and the Starks.
How can someone like Daemon be redeemed? What can this man possibly do to atton for his sins. My mind is blank. I honestly think he would stay a villain. At most, they will make Aemond worse than him, thereby presenting Daemon as the lesser evil.
Theon's was a far superior storyline, though, both in writing and execution. He was held captive and systematically broken down until he became Reek. Watching the awful things Ramsey did to him changed the way people saw him. He became sympathetic, and he really wasn't THAT bad to begin with. Daemon is doing this to himself and he has neither the self-awareness, skill, or diplomacy to pull it off. People like him because they see him as a badass, but he's nothing more than a thug ... a hitman. We knew that about him last season, as it was heavily implied. Now, we're just being spoonfed those same facts and it's been like 3 episodes. It's enough. Now I didn't read the book, but I'm gonna wager I can guess how this is gonna go down... He's gonna fail to get anyone to willingly fight for him, and he's going to have to crawl back to Rhaenyra at the last minute to redeem himself in battle and he WILL help, but will die in the attempt.Yes? No? At any rate, I really don't care because he's a hundred times worse than Theon ever was, which adds to the boredom I feel with his storyline. He fully deserves whatever is coming his way.

Mysaria one of the characters. I respect the most in the show mainly because she started from nothing, lowborn, small folk. Yet she rose up to make her own business and to have influence. She owes the Royals and nobility absolutely nothing. her interactions with the greens in the past have been purely transactional, for her benefit and the benefit of the common people. To be able to amass her own power enough that she can stand tall with nobility is something that should be admired, not scorned. #teamsmallfolk
Summoning the Targaryen bastards looks to me like one of Rhaenyra's major mistakes. A man without family or name will get his hands on power, a dragon and the most powerful family name in Westeros. One can guess the consequences... A struggle for the throne arose even between the children of the same king.

The castle surrounded by red with two dragons on either side is Aegon the Conqueror and Visenya burning Harrenhal. The dead king on the throne is King Maegor the Cruel/ Maegor the Usurper who is then followed by King Jaehaerys The Conciliator (daemon and viserys’ grandfather)
Well Queen Alyssa served as regent before Jaehaerys came of age. So a widow queen can have power and usefulness. But I guess for you she should just end herself since she is useless

Alyn and Adam, as far as the show has inferred, do not have Targaryen ancestors and should not be able to ride dragons. House Velaryon, although from Old Valyria, are not dragon riders. Corlys children/grandchildren with Rhaenys are dragon riders only through her bloodline not Corlys. I do see Corlys possibly legitimizing Alyn to let him inherit Driftmark and lead House Velaryon in the future

Just like here Myseria hasn't done anything wrong, she at first was just trying to make her money and be about business but now she has seen Rhaenyra as rightful heir and a good choice to be it. She wants to help her now and make sure she can help the small folk too.

Mysaria one of the characters. I respect the most in the show mainly because she started from nothing, lowborn, small folk. Yet she rose up to make her own business and to have influence. She owes the Royals and nobility absolutely nothing. her interactions with the greens in the past have been purely transactional, for her benefit and the benefit of the common people. To be able to amass her own power enough that she can stand tall with nobility is something that should be admired, not scorned. #teamsmallfolk
Summoning the Targaryen bastards looks to me like one of Rhaenyra's major mistakes. A man without family or name will get his hands on power, a dragon and the most powerful family name in Westeros. One can guess the consequences... A struggle for the throne arose even between the children of the same king.

Oh I'm loving the Rhaenyra and Mysaria team up. I understand where you're coming from tho MC. How much can Rhaenyra really trust her? I love seeing Alicent's power grab just fall away. I think Criston was dumb for dragging Meleys's head thru the streets. Aegon got the karma he deserves. Baela, Jace and Mysaria really stepped up this episode. I don't like Otto but if he was still hand the greens would be in better shape, I think.

Daemon can't leave Harrenhal because he needs an army. How much clearer should the show make it for you? He is there for an army, and he is doing that this episode by gathering army.

Irony with how the councils are treating both queens, is the Targaryen dynasty began with two warrior queens in battles along with the Conqueror. Some notes on the intro and the Targaryen history depicted in it: the part with the dragons falling from the sky is the Doom of Valyria. The castle surrounded by red with two dragons on either side is Aegon the Conqueror and Visenya burning Harrenhal. The dead king on the throne is King Maegor the Cruel/ Maegor the Usurper who is then followed by King Jaehaerys The Conciliator (daemon and viserys’ grandfather)

A good filler episode that develop the children of daemon and rhaenyra more. I still don’t understand y Alicent thinks she should be in charge during war times when all she wanted has been no violence and restraint. N daemon the great war general with no army lol Its a nice set up episode for future things to come, Team Green.
I tend to prefer “set up” to “filler” - the former is necessary for important plot and character development.

Barely any of these people know war. Crispin has some experience, Aemond has the one battle as a dragon rider. It has been peace time other than some small scale wars like the Step Stones and whatever Cole was involved in the Dornish Marches. Anyway, Alicent as capable of running things and delegating as the best of the council

Alyn and Adam, as far as the show has inferred, do not have Targaryen ancestors and should not be able to ride dragons. House Velaryon, although from Old Valyria, are not dragon riders. Corlys children/grandchildren with Rhaenys are dragon riders only through her bloodline not Corlys. I do see Corlys possibly legitimizing Alyn to let him inherit Driftmark and lead House Velaryon in the future
Targaryeans have married into house valaryon before so they do have some dragon blood

Personally I don’t mind, because it’s the first time we are really getting to see a Targaryen go “mad.” But I can understand why many viewers aren’t into it.

That said, he didn't campaign for all this responsibility they keep throwing at him. He is just trying to get the job done without complaining while being loyal to everybody. Sorry, but Rhyneara quivers every time she talks to the counsel. She does not exhibit leadership abilities. She fled the capital like a coward and left her daddy there to die. She did nothing then and she is doing nothing now.
She left the castle to take her young children home, and her father died before she could return. Big difference.
