My BFF...labeling yourself is self-limiting. Webster's dictionary meaning of introvert is to concentrate ( one's interests) upon one's self. Do I need a lot of me time?...yes. Am I private?....yes. Do I keep things close to my heart? ....yes. Do I label myself or others? No. You are not an introvert by definition....you are you a marvelous, creative, thoughtful woman😊
Georgia, my mother is an extrovert and we clash! She feels neglect if she is not part of something always and needs to be recharged by the exterior. I cannot make her understand my being different (introvert) has no reflection on her. When she leaves, I am energetically drained.
